Zuhair Murad Spring 2022 Haute Couture Red Carpet Wish List

When it comes to the Zuhair Murad Spring 2022 Couture collection, I can pretty much copy and paste what I said about the Elie Saab collection in terms of this feeling like an anniversary collection.

But that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t an abundance of gorgeous red carpet worthy gowns.  

When I saw this gold gown I immediately thought of Kate Hudson. 

She has always had great success with gold gowns – her 2008 Dior BAFTA dress, 2015 Michael Kors Met Gala dress and her 2016 Maria Lucia Hohan Vanity Fair Oscar party dress – are all classic examples.

I would love to see the red pleated gown on Halle Berry.  With those exact shoes.  Halle has the presence to make this an epic moment.

Anna Diop is our girl of the moment.  I think she excels in bold hues, so this orange chiffon number would be picked for either an awards season or premiere look.

Yes.  The next selection is a little predictable for Adriana Lima.  But out of all of the models, she is the one who tends to gravitate to black the most, so I can see her wearing this dress.

Two years ago I would’ve wished to see this blue gown on Elle Fanning, but her looks from last year signalled that she may have evolved past these princess gowns (thank god I hear you say. LOL).

So my eventual selection was Araya A. Hargate as this style of gown will always be on the table so long as she is invited to Cannes.

Honestly.  I selected this blue dress more for the colour and embroidery than the actual dress itself.  And it’s another predictable selection in Izabel Goulart, but I feel that the designer creates these dresses with these ladies in mind.
