Ciara Wore LaQuan Smith To The 2021 ACE Awards
Ciara attended the 25th Annual ACE Awards on Tuesday (November 2) in New York City, where she presented the LaQuan Smith with the ACE Hero Award.
The designer might be perceived as an “Instagram brand” as the biggest spotlight on his brand came as a result of the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner wearing his designs, but the new designer had been grinding well before their recognition.
The goal of any celebrity and celebrity stylist is to bring something new to a runway look, usually in terms of styling.
Just the simple placement of this Spring 2022 sarong-style skirt a few inches higher than the runway, has dramatically improved the fortunes of this outing.
I’m sure someone will opt to wear this look again and wear it like the model on the runway, but I love how the look is sultrier on Ciara.
The colour is gorgeous against her skin-tone, and I love the nude hue of her Louboutin pumps.
On this occasion I’m not so freaked out by the coloured contacts.
