Maggie & Jake Gyllenhaal Twin In Velvet For ‘The Lost Daughter’ New York Film Festival Premiere

Much like he did during Venice Film Festival, Jake Gyllenhaal supported his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut film ‘The Lost Daughter’ during New York Film Festival.

So much so that they were twinning in the fabric of the season, velvet.

She wore a plunging navy look from the Fendi Winter Capsule 2021 collection, while he wore a green Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2021 suit.

There are many reasons to adore this classic winter fabric.

It signals that party season is around the corner.

It feels so luxe and smooth, along with being both elegant and glamorous.

One doesn’t wear velvet to nip to the shops, it is an occasion fabric; and on this occasion both looked really good even though I do wish that Maggie had opted for a statement necklace.

Statement earrings will have to suffice.
