Katie Holmes Wore Christopher Esber To The Vacheron Constantin Flagship Grand Opening

Katie Holmes attended the Vacheron Constantin Flagship Grand Opening on Wednesday (September 8) in New York City for the start of Fashion Week.

We all know Katie’s style.

It has evolved over the years from being quite prim, then high fashion during the Victoria Beckham BFF and marriage to Tom Cruise years, then she reverted to type.

I guess with the start of Fashion Week, the actress felt emboldened to try something new by donning this Christopher Esber ruched dress from the designers 10th anniversary collection.

This piece incorporates two trends.

The reverse bikini top and cut-outs.

I would say that one trend was already a lot for Katie, but two was one too many.

The problem isn’t really the dress.  It’s how she wore the dress, and the fact that this is not her dress.

It’s a Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Bieber, Ciara, Cardi B kinda dress.

You’ve got to have the attitude and confidence to wear this style of dress.

Katie clearly had a level of confidence, but the attitude, much like the styling, was missing.
