Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams Exhibition Opening

Before the official opening on September 10, Christian Dior hosted an event inviting celebrities to view the Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams Exhibition — co-curated by Dior scholar Florence Müller.
The exhibition thoroughly explores the high fashion history of The House of Dior, which dates back to the turn of the 20th century, when the brand’s namesake Christian Dior founded the label.
Yara Shahidi, who has had a long history with Dior, wore a Fall 2021 Haute Couture black mohair houndstooth top with a black flannel skirt.
I could marvel at both pieces all day. Especially the construction of her pleated skirt.
Dior sandals completed her look.

I’m not going to lie.  I high-key low-key love this Dior animal print jumpsuit on Kacey Musgraves.
It’s the print, followed by the fact that I can see myself wearing this at home as it looks like a comfortable onesie, plus the matching scarf.
I wouldn’t be wearing this with those black pumps however.Â

Lorde wore a Dior black flared dress featuring a design that transcends decades.
A pop of colour via her raspberry Micro Lady Dior Vanity Case ensured the look didn’t fade into the sea of LBDs at this event.

If it wasn’t for the gold shimmering fabric, AnnaSophia Robb’s Dior look could’ve tricked me into thinking that she was wearing PJs.

When it comes to Olivia Palermo’s Dior polka dot Dior dress and accessories; J’Adore.
But the same can’t be said for the eye makeup.
It feels too heavy for this look. I don’t feel like it suits Olivia at all.

Jordan Alexander from the ‘Gossip Girl’ reboot, followed Anna’s light coloured Dior outfit, with dark Dior accessories lead.
On this occasion I love the styling as it suits Jordan’s grungy aesthetic.

Having seen some of the picture of the ‘Sex And The City’ girls on set, I have to say that I have been really underwhelmed by the fashion in the absence of Patricia Fields who was too busy working on ‘Emily In Paris’ to be the costume designer for the third film.
This Dior look sees Kristin Davis channel her inner Charlotte York.
