Lily Rabe Wore Marmar Halim Promoting ‘The First Lady’
Lily Rabe, known for her roles in ‘The Undoing’ and ‘American Horror Story’ will also star in Showtime’s anthology series ‘The First Lady’ alongside a powerful cast which includes Viola Davis and Gillian Anderson.
As the title suggests, the series will focus on a number of American First Ladies throughout history, with the first season focusing on the lives of Michelle Obama, Betty Ford and Eleanor Roosevelt.
When it comes to Lily, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I have pigeon-holed her as an all-black, and neutral-wearing unofficial ambassador for The Row and Khaite.
Mostly because the luxe minimalist brands are a perfect fit for her no-fuss style.
But to her credit, while promoting the shows mentioned above, she did give us a lot of variety, both in terms of style and brands.
On this occasion she introduces us to Marmar Halim, a fashion brand based in Dubai.
I love how the designer takes everything we love about classic shirting and reimagines it with a feminine twist to create this maxi silhouette which expertly balances sharp tailoring with fluidity.
For a contemporary finish, the look was beautifully styled with all white accessories, which I feel elevates the dress in comparison to the look book.
