Gemma Chan Wore Burberry To The L’Oréal Paris ‘Lights On Women’ Short Film Competition

Gemma Chan shared this picture of her last look from the Cannes Film Festival on Twitter yesterday, which shows her attending the L’Oréal Paris ‘Lights On Women’ Short Film Competition.

The British actress, who is the latest ambassador for the beauty brand, wore a look from Burberry.

When you think Burberry, corsets don’t usually spring to mind, yet corsetry influences ran through Riccardo Tisci’s Pre-Fall 2021 and Spring 2021 collections.

For some, there may be a lot going on, but I love how the designer experiments with textures and silhouettes to bring a carefree impression with a sensual corset paired with a tartan, pleated skirt with a handkerchief hem.

All white accessories completed the look which included a Tyler Ellis clutch.

Of her three Cannes looks, this would sit second favourite after the Oscar de la Renta dress.
