French actress Camille Cottin has been busy promoting her new film ‘Stillwater’ alongside Matt Damon and Abigail Breslin.
Much like Spike Lee and Noemie Merlant, Camille has pledged her fashion allegiance to one designer: Maria Grazia Chiuri for Christian Dior.
For the ‘Stillwater’ premiere she stepped out in a super chic black crepe silk bustier and skirt which is timeless in its design which comes from precise tailoring.
It was at this point I felt that simple elegance was going to be the path on which Camille was going to be taking during this festival.
For the photocall, she opted for a Dior dress that was not only crisp, but quintessentially Parisian in its understated elegance.
This dress was calling for a pairing with simple heeled sandal, but she styled the look with Dior boots which gave the look an unexpected, yet delightful edge.
Despite the placement of the belt, this was a perfect, relaxed look for a photocall.
For last nights ‘France’ premiere the actress wore a look from the Christian Dior Fall 2020 Haute Couture collection.
This wasn’t on my “must see on the red carpet” list.
And in reality, it just didn’t translate very well.
The colour is quite uninspiring, the design – despite being quite fitted to the body – isn’t doing much for her figure, and the velvet fabric for a summer film festival didn’t feel like the right choice at all.
Boucheron jewels completed her look.
Two out of three for me.
Which was your favourite?
