Ashanti Rocks A 24k Alexander McQueen Suit For The ‘Gram
Last month you were mostly horrified when I posted Ashanti wearing an Alexander McQueen blazer while promoting her new single ‘235 (235 I Want You)’.
It was a mixture of the poor fit of the blazer, and her decision to rock the look sans trousers that had you etching the look into your WDOTY lists in Sharpie.
I was going to say, “on this occasion she wasn’t so bold,” but if rocking a 24k molten metallic suit isn’t bold, I don’t know what is.
This Alexander McQueen metallic moiré blazer and cigarette trouser look from the Pre-Fall 2020 collection isn’t an easy look to pull off.
Wearing the right size does help of course, so does the styling and bringing the right attitude to a look like this, which Ashanti nails on this occasion.
Celine sandals and a selection of gold jewels ensured this look was far from being lame.
