Day three of the first Black National Convention virtual event was co-hosted by ‘Pose’ actress Angelica Ross on Tuesday (August 28).

The event adopted a political agenda calling for slavery reparations, universal basic income, environmental justice and legislation that entirely re-imagines criminal justice reform.

Nothing says sophisticated elegance quite like a Chanel tweed suit.

I adore the on-trend purple and black tie dye as it helps modernize this classic jacket and skirt set.

Would I have loved this as much in blue, pink or green?

Most definitely, but what really sells this to me is Angelica’s beauty look, along with her choice of Chanel jewelry which accessorized this look.

Are you glad to see this look from the hips up considering that the skirt looks a tad matronly on the runway?

Or are you confident that Angelica would’ve sold this look to you regardless?

I’m leaning to the latter.
