Awards Season Dates

Happy New Year.

I hope you all enjoyed your time off, and are having no regrets about the amount of food you consumed during the festive period.

As you know, the year always starts with a bang with the Golden Globes, then the other ceremonies will follow thick and fast.

Below are the dates we will be covering live, so please do join us and let us know what you think by supporting our efforts in the comments.

Sunday, January 5: Golden Globe Awards
Sunday, January 19: Screen Actors Guild Awards 
Sunday, January 26: Grammy Awards
Sunday, February 2: BAFTAs
Saturday, February 8: Film Independent Spirit Awards 
Sunday, Febuary 9: Oscars & the Vanity Fair Oscar Party

The best thing about these dates are that the BAFTAs and the Grammys are not on the same day. This is only the second time this has happened. Hopefully it stays this way going forward.

Other dates to look forward to which we’ll cover the following day are:

Monday, January 13: Critics’ Choice Awards, Saturday, January 25: Goya Awards and Friday, February 28: César Awards.
