Taylor Swift was named both Artist of the Year and Artist of the Decade at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) in Los Angeles.
The singer also performed a career-spanning medley of hits celebrating her title of Artist of the Decade including ‘Love Story,’ ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and ‘Shake It Off.’
Julien Macdonald is known for his sultry, drop-dead gorgeous – and often risqué – red carpet dresses, which is exactly what I wanted from this custom, deep green fully embroidered piece.
But I didn’t get it.
Honestly, I just didn’t quite understand the design between the draped bodice and high-low skirt. I wish Taylor had picked something from the designers current Spring 2020 collection, as I feel she would’ve captured my attention in any of those designs.
My first thought when I saw this dress was, “it feels like a Mariah Carey dress.” Translate that as you will.
Casadei ‘Blade’ boots plus Ofira Jewels black diamond hoops and an assortment of Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira Jewels black diamond rings completed her look.
Should Taylor have worn the runway version?
