Jorja Smith's Mellow Yellow Zuhair Murad Gown For The 2019 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

Jorja Smith was crowned Musician of the Year at the 2019 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards held at Claridge’s Hotel on Tuesday (October 29) in London, where she joined Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Cate Blanchett.

The singer style is yet to be determined.  I wouldn’t label her as someone whose style is easily identifiable like Jennifer Aniston or Renee Zellweger for example, but both of those ladies have been in the game a lot longer.

Seeing the title, I bet you were expecting a gown with a thousand sparkling adornments.  But on this occasion that was reserved for her Chopard jewels.

Clearly her M.O. was to steal the limelight in this Zuhair Murad Spring 2020 sunshine-bright gown.

Taffeta isn’t a hugely popular fabric, but here, it gives the style a voluminous look which is enhanced by the oversized bow at the back that is balanced out by the draped skirt, and the slit which gives Jorja the perfect opportunity to show off her silver sandals.

Jorja tied the ensemble together minimal makeup with her hair swept up into a high ponytail.
