Maria Sharapova’s Hybrid Sacai Designs Turns Heads At The Nordstrom NYC Flagship Opening Party

Maria Sharapova joined Zoe Saldana for the Nordstrom NYC Flagship Opening Party on Tuesday (October 22) in New York City.

The tennis player is known to replicate her on-court sporty style on the red carpet.  Usually via David Koma, but she went into a totally different direction on this occasion.

Chitose Abe, the designer at the helm of Sacai, has made hybrid designs one of her signatures.

For some this may feel like too many ideas at once, for others, like me, you’ll be enjoying the experimental approach to fashion, disproportioned silhouette and directional details.

The only thing that didn’t work for me here are her grey Nike’s.

Cream sneakers would’ve worked better.
