Sylvia Hoeks In JW Anderson – ‘Waiting For The Barbarians’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Sylvia Hoeks In JW Anderson - 'Waiting For The Barbarians' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Sylvia Hoeks was back at the 2019 Venice Film Festival for the ‘Waiting For The Barbarians’ premiere on Friday (September 6) in Italy.

With a distinct sense of relaxed, off-duty glamour, she sauntered across the red carpet in a languid dress, embellished with two ornate pins, from the JW Anderson Fall 2019 collection.

Normally, a jersey-style dress like this wouldn’t exactly fly, but Sylvia’s unique, nearly rebellious embrace of it really makes sense somehow.

I love her red lip and Messika jewels, with the single ear cuff adding an edge to the look.

Edgy enough to look interesting. But something is not right. Maybe the proportions or the pants? a more streamlined leg would have worked better.

In the beginning I wasn’t sure what to think about this look, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I love the silhouette and the colours, and also
    this rebellious vibe Sylvia gives.

Very understated chic. She’s really sells with her at-ease confidence.

There’s an unnecessary thing like a knot on her top part. It reminds me the curtains in my house.

This look is really interesting and chic. I’m glad Sylvia doesn’t wear boring column gowns.
