Danai Gurira’s Modern Moments For ‘The Walking Dead’ Comic-Con Panel

Danai Gurira in Proenza Schouler -

On Saturday (July 20), Danai Gurira announced at Comic Con, that the upcoming 10th season of ‘The Walking Dead’ will indeed be her last, as she’s moving on from her character Michonne to pursue other projects.

Before we get all teary eyed, let’s look at her two looks during the convention.

‘The Walking Dead’ Comic-Con Panel: This Proenza Schouler Fall 2019 dress has the contemporary feel we expect from both the brand and Danai.

Black piping gives this piece a fresh finish, while the mesh panels adds a touch of sex appeal.

Square toe mules from the same collection completed this look.

Pizza Hut Lounge at 2019 Comic-Con:  Danai’s Paco Rabanne Spring 2019 look was my favourite of the two.

The look feels so feminine, mixing a graphic print with florals, however, I have a feeling some might question the need for the chain overlay skirt.

Was it necessary?

Perhaps not, but the look is still stunning regardless.

Both hair and beauty are also on point here.

Which look did you prefer?

The second of the two is best from hair, makeup, outfit, accessories & shoes. The first I like the hair & makeup, the dress would look terrible on anyone else but she pulls it off. Those shoes are just not my thing. She looked gorgeous in both. I like that she goes for it altho sometimes I hate it lol.

The first one I like neck up. That dress is just awful.
The second is also neck up. I like the chain overlay actually but the patterns just mussy-up the whole look.

The first look is ridiculously unflattering!

First had to be a different colour than white. Skirt is also smooth on runaway.

Second it’s all about hair and makeup. Here I’ve seen so many women wear similar things like that. They might not be branded but I didn’t surprise. Boring.

Neither are boring so Danai gets all the points.

Wow, the second look, for sure. That’s alotta print but she handled it well. Prefer the hair style of the second look too.

Love the 2nd look, hate the first one.

Definitely prefer the Paco Rabanne, it feels summery but contemporary and a little edgy but feminine and elegant. The Schouler feels a bit awkward in design, the bra while necessary clutters the a busy torso area already and those shoes are horrible.
