Danai Gurira In Gabriela Hearst – 2019 Met Gala

Danai Gurira was another actress who injected her own personal interpretation of the 2019 Met Gala‘s theatrical ‘camp’ theme on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

With a dramatic plunge and equally dramatic train, this custom Gabriela Hearst black jumpsuit was perfectly fitted — as it should be — and paired with a streamlined pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals.

No gown and no glitz was needed to make an impact here — well, except for a few well-placed Fred Leighton jewels.

As for the rest, Danai let the top hat, hair beads, and a cane do all the work for this Cabaret-inspired entrance.
