Yara Shahidi In Marc Jacobs – Barbie’s 60th Anniversary & International Women’s Day

In order to celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Barbie recently announced its exclusive line of Role Model Barbie Dolls – set to break boundaries and inspire a new generation.

These Role Model Barbie’s include activists, athletes and one of our favourite actresses, Yara Shahidi.

The ‘Grown-ish’ star unveiled her doll on International Women’s Day (March 8), wearing a Marc Jacobs Spring 2019 look.

I’m not sure I need to say again that this collection has been very hit and miss with the majority, but on this occasion I love the playful polka dots, and the way Yara made this look her own with the fluffy cardigan.

Some might find the bow hair accessory too twee by Yara’s standards, but if you’re not going to wear a cute bow to the unveiling of your Barbie doll, then where?
