Naomi Watts In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘At Eternity’s Gate’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Naomi Watts In Dolce & Gabbana - 'At Eternity's Gate' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Naomi Watts’ 2018 Venice Film Festival experience has been spectacular, as with each look she takes things up a level.

At the premiere of ‘At Eternity’s Gate’ this evening (September 3) in Italy, the actress dazzled in Dolce & Gabbana, wearing a look from their Secrets and Diamonds fashion show.

Indicative of the Italian designers penchant for embellishment, this sees a soft lace overlay intricately decorated with shimmering sparkling crystals in a spell-binding arrangement.

Some might not like the “more is more” approach with the addition of the De Beers cuffs, drop earrings, embellished heels and embellished Dolce & Gabbana clutch, but I do love it when celebs step outside their comfort-zone during European Film Festivals and throw caution to the wind.

Ugh, no. She should stick to Armani.

I don’t love the look of jewelry over clothing in general, but that’s not even my biggest concern here. I wish she’d opted for a shorter slip so the skirt could have the sheer mermaid-tail effect it had on the runway.

At least she lined the dress.

I like the jumbled nature of this, but wish the shoes were tied in with the ‘more (glam boho) is more’ aesthetic up top.

I haven’t liked anything so far. She is so consistently underwhelming on the RC. It’s always strapless column gowns and unflattering boho inspired cocktail dresses.
Venice is fast becoming one of most exciting film festivals for fashion, she really needs to step it up.

I agree with Tea….I don’t mind the variety but it does feel like she’s fizzling, I was in love with her opening Armani dress and less in love with each following look. This, I’m not really buying on her, and her hair should’ve been different.

Her RC looks are getting worse imo I wasn’t a big fan of the Dior one either.

She started off blazing and now is, not quite limping but not shining as brightly. I mean last year Rebecca Hall was serving us killer gown after killer gown. The dress for another event sans jewels.

I didn’t like her Dior and wasn’t the biggest fan of the Prada, but this, I like a lot!
