Greta Gerwig In Delpozo – Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch

Greta Gerwig joined Elle Fanning, Zendaya Coleman and Kendall Jenner at the Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City.

The ‘Lady Bird’ director had an amazing run during awards season, giving us a variety of looks, but for me this Delpozo Fall 2018 beats them all hands down.

This was one of my favourite looks of the entire Fall 2018 season, so I’m ecstatic to see it worn so beautifully here.

While the look is Couture-like in its creation, I’m not sad to see the removal of the signature floral belt. In this setting it may have been too overwhelming and overly fussy for Greta.

Sleek Giuseppe Zanotti Harmony sandals were the perfect way to round out this look, along with Tiffany & Co. subtle earrings.

This is her best look yet. Its a beautiful ensemble and she looks great in it!

She looks nice but definitely feels pedestrian sans belt.

    she looks lovely

+1, the belt is just not Greta’s style but without it this dress falls flat on her. The belt was absolutely crucial to this look. I wish she had worn something else. Maybe someone with panache will wear it with the belt because this look deserves a second chance.

It was great on the runway. Falls flat on Greta sadly. I would say it seems almost mumsy on her. Im using that word a lot today it seems.

This look deserved SOMEONE ELSE imho. Kerry Washington would have killed it with her flawless styling.

YES, Kerry would look phenomenal in this.

I should like this, but somehow I don’t.

It looks fantastic on the runway but on Greta… it’s kinda boring especially with the lackluster styling. If she kept the floral belt it would look so much better.

    I love it, gorgeous!

I beg to differ, the floral belt was the key element of this ensemble, taking it off is like sucking the life out of this look, though she did look nice in it,but I couldn’t help but being underwhelmed.
That flower would’ve echoed perfectly with the flower wall. and by letting the peplums out,she took this look into matronly-territory

I agree. The waistline looks a bit unfinished without the belt.

Or she should have just taken the skirt and combined it with a cool top.

      +1 agree she ruined it.

YES the belt is SO needed. Wearing the belt is how you become a BDOTW or even year nominee.

Actually, given the backdrop, I kinda miss the floral accent and the waist definition a belt would have enhanced.
