Kiernan Shipka In Delpozo – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Kiernan Shipka was back on the red carpet for the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, and I’m delighted to see she brought her favourite brand Delpozo with her too.

Loved by those in-the-know for their enticing designs and ultra-flattering silhouettes, Delpozo has always been every fashion-lover’s favourite, and this look is a great example why.

Kiernan’s green and pink tulle embroidered top with white and blue jacquard skinny trousers hailing from the Spring 2018 collection has everything.

It’s ethereal, feminine, smart, youthful, chic, fashion forward and sweet without being too cutesy.

With looks like this, I don’t ever want Kiernan to grow up.

Love her but this is too twee by half.

What an odd, er, costume. I kinda like it although the colors are so easter egg I wish she had saved this for spring.

Looking fabulous without even try hard. I would not like this outfit on any other person than Kiernan. I suppose she has the persona to pull this off.

I love that she attempted to pull this off and I like the result. So fresh!

Go, Kiernan, go! This girl is just awesome.

She dresses so perfectly for her age. Has fun, experiments. What a red carpet pro already.

I can’t get over how fabulous this is!!!

Somehow it works on Kiernan but this is one ugly outfit. I especially dislike the gap between the pants and pink part of the top. That bit of sheer looks silly and adds to the overall disjointedness of the look. But somehow some way, Kiernan makes it work probably because it looks very age appropriate.

It’s not the greatest outfit imo. too many clashing elements – the bodice, the skirt…plus the color and pants give it a pj feel. However, Kiernan is the right wearer, she pulls it off due to her youth. I’m sold.

It looks almost comical but it’s a yes for me! She looks, oh so, very confident.

I like the colors but I don’t know if I like the actual clothes. I do love her confidence though.

Her confidence and posture are the winners here. The dress is a solid no, but her face in the main photo says: “I DARE you to tell me that to my face”. Lol!

      🙂

I actually find this amazing. If there is one person to pull this look off is her. One of my favorites last night.

Heck NO. Horrid idea. Looks like she’s a preschooler who got to dress herself for the day. So bad.

  15. J January 12, 2018 at 15:26 #

    Nope.

  16. Charlotte January 12, 2018 at 15:11 #

It’s too much, even for her, the top with a dark jeans or the pants with a white shirt, would have been both good looks.

  17. Leandra January 12, 2018 at 14:59 #

It’s a very difficult look, playing with textures, volumes, colours and overplaying traditional ways of layering and still, she manages to display it in an almost effortless way. I really like the way she takes risks.

    NO.
