Ciara was on hand to present Selena Gomez with the Woman of the Year Award at the Billboard Women In Music event on Thursday (November 30) in Hollywood, California.

Rocking a JLo-esqe 90s half-up, half-down ‘do, the singer wore an ivory taffeta Vera Wang custom top with a flowing train, styled with a black vinyl skirt.

I adore the construction of the top, yet my immediate thought was I wish she’d worn matching cigarette trousers.

That, however, would’ve taken this look swiftly down a bridal path, so I decided to embrace the bold impact of this edgy look as presented.

I don’t think you will be naming this your best event of the year as Solange Knowles, Selena Gomez and other failed to impress, so how do you feel about Ciara’s look?
