Front Row @ Miu Miu Spring 2018
Miu Miu-dressed darlings were out in force to celebrate the Miu Miu Spring 2018 collection on the final day of Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (October 3).
Elle Fanning: From the bodice to the crotch, everything seemed to droop just a tad low on this jumpsuit, but I still loved the punchy glamour Elle brought to the look with her crimson lip along with the multi-colour confetti of embellishment on her sandals and earrings.
Naomie Harris: This cropped two-piece look was all about youthful femininity, with Naomie’s beautiful locks echoing the fun spirit. I love how the felt skirt glinted with just the hint of embellishment while the matching buckle clutch and sandals rounded out the look with a bolder finish.
Dakota Fanning: While we know the perils of taking a seat in a satiny fabric such as this, the electric-blue hue quickly absolved the girly frock of its creases. Embellished platforms made it all the more a signature Miu Miu look.
Stacy Martin: There was a vibrant lushness imbued in this particular shade of emerald-green, with Stacy offering a chicly prim variation on the patterned frock with her straight locks and complementary sandals.
Julia Garner: It took me awhile to figure out what wasn’t quite adding up in this look, and it finally dawned on me that it was her big pearl earrings. They seemed a bit ageing to the young starlet—and not exactly what the doctor ordered for this slightly more girly-rebellious version of an LBD with its studs and lace.
Maggie Gyllenhaal: I loved this striking look for its subtle sense of sophisticated power with just the hint of tonal embellishment through the red top. It was perfectly in tune with Maggie’s vintage-loving style, while translating as completely timeless—with just the touch of Miu Miu funkiness in her buckled platforms. The white clutch I could have done without.
Clemence Poesy: With a twist on schoolgirl charm, Clemence played dress-up in her jumper and skirt set by styling them with a bejeweled necklace and Mary Jane shoes.
Emily Ratajkowski: This was the most covered up we’ve seen Emily in the past few days, although I did find myself wishing for a more feminine sandal to match this pretty, ruffle frock.
Lady Amelia Windsor: Leather and lace was replaced by leather and fur in this spunky outfit that faced a mixed identity of dainty, quirky, and edgy.
