2017 Olivier Awards Red Carpet Roundup

There were plenty more stars who climbed the steps at the Royal Albert Hall in London yesterday (April 9) for the 2017 Olivier Awards.

Denise Gough: We haven’t seen much of Burberry on the red carpet this year, yet they dressed two actresses at this event. Like Cush’s Burberry gown, Diane’s was decked out this embellishments, but unlike Cush, I didn’t love this. I’m not sure if it’s the shade of yellow, the embellishments with the yellow or the rouge lip and nail combo with the yellow gown, but something is throwing me off.

Audra McDonald: Eight-time Tony Award winner and Queen of Broadway Audra McDonald wore an exquisitely tailored gown in the softest blue-hued shade. This elegant off-the-shoulder style was one of my favourite of the night.

Louise Redknapp: The TV presenter went down a romantic route wearing a Vilshenko ‘Penelope’ floral ruffled gown styled with a Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch; evoking the casual glamour of the 90s.

Billie Piper: With the usual neglect in the hair and makeup department, it hard to take in the beauty of Billie’s Kolchagov Barba Couture gown.

Jessie Buckley: The actress nailed the floral trend of the night in her Temperley London Fall 2017 gown.

I love Denise’s gown: I see the colour as zesty mandarin orange. The simple silhouette and straps are endearing.

I like the color and off shoulder of Audra’s gown, but the middle looks way too tight

None of them. Fashion wise it was a poor event.
