Ava DuVernay In Ashi Studio Couture – 2017 Oscars

Ava DuVernay made quite the statement on the red carpet of the 2017 Oscars on Sunday night (February 26).

The director wore a graceful Ashi Studio Fall 2016 Couture gown with lace appliqué detailing.

First of all, can I just say a big ‘yes’ to gray on the red carpet? The shade is just dark enough to really distinguish it as gray versus silver, and I’m absolutely loving the unique color.

Ava’s gorgeous, long locs, smokey eye and diamond jewelry are the perfect complements to this dramatic look.
