Jennifer Lopez returned to the Bronx for her first ever hometown concert to launch State Farm Neighborhood Sessions on Wednesday (June 4) in Bronx, New York.

During her show-stopping performance, the singer donned a selection of Versace and Versus Versace pieces, opening with a custom-made Versus Versace green palm-print long-sleeved bodysuit with a matching tear-away skirt and gold safety-pin accents which was reminiscent of her iconic Grammy 2000 Versace moment.

Up next was a Versus Versace white halter keyhole top with matching high-waist shorts accented with an oversized gold safety-pin belt and gold mini safety pins down the side.

During the slow-dance ballad portion of the show, JLo donned a vibrant deep purple Atelier Versace Spring 2014 draped hooded gown accented with Swarovski detailing. I was very critical of this collection at Cannes as it didn’t fit the occasion; here, though, it works.

JLo’s penultimate look was a fiery red custom-made Atelier Versace long-sleeved hooded bodysuit with batwing sleeves, embroidered with red Swarovski crystals.

For the encore, the singer really brought the house down with a Versus Versace look that screamed Jenny from the Block, donning a multicoloured printed bodysuit with safety-pin details, and a matching custom-made Versus Versace printed bomber jacket with gold chain details topped off with a blinged-out gold crystallized New York Yankees cap.

It was the perfect ending.

There are many great looks here; I love the significance of the opening look, but each one was JLo through and through, and she of course topped off her looks with her favoured half-up, half-down Jenny from the Block hairstyle.
