Burberry Hosts New Museum Artists Dinner

Burberry Hosts New Museum Artists Dinner

Burberry hosted a dinner party in honour of the New Museum Artists held at Lafayette in New York City on Wednesday (May 7) ahead of the third annual Frieze Art Fair.

Suki Waterhouse: The British model wore a soft-blue Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2014 sheer chiffon dress with a plunging neckline and slits in the skirt styled with nude Casadei platform pumps.

Dianna Agron: The ‘Glee’ star wore a navy and brown scoop-neck dress, but it’s her accessories which take centre stage. While not a fan of mixing metals, I do find her gold jewels and silver Burberry ‘Taylor’ sandals intriguing as much as the magenta lip colour. The clutch is a bit blah.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: This is the actress’s second Burberry Prorsum look in the last 5 days. On this occasion she wore a Fall 2014 loose-fit keyhole printed dress, adding a rare punchy pink lip plus patterned pumps and a gold clutch. I love the accessories as it would’ve been so easy to keep it simple with black pumps here.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw: I almost didn’t recognise the British actress without her curly ‘do. She also usually works a more neutral makeup palette, so the rouge lip is a refreshing change. Wearing a very ladylike printed frock, the look and styling read ladies-who-lunch rather than dinner party. Not to say it isn’t lovely, but I would’ve loved to have seen her in a sexier after-dark look.

Naomi Campbell: Forever the glamazon, the supermodel donned a black McQueen gown with intricate embellishments on the sleeves which hugs in all the right places.

Lily Donaldson: The British model wore a pretty LBD with a sheer lace patterned bodice styled the same Bionda Castana ‘Rosario’ pumps we’ve seen on Keira Knightley.
