Nicole Richie In Donna Karan Atelier – 2014 Met Gala
Nicole Richie struck a cool pose on the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.
The edgy star wore a Donna Karan Atelier custom-dyed, Sage backless, velvet gown with tiny asymmetrical straps that criss-cross around the back.
To accent the look, she wore a Zagliani clutch, Christian Louboutin shoes and delicate jewelry from her own line, House of Harlow 1960, and hipster favorite Catbird.
While I love this color, I can’t help but feel like there is just a little bit too much skin showing for this type of occasion (though Nicole pulls it off without being entirely vulgar).
While at first I wasn’t thrilled with the messy coiffing of her purple-hued hair, I actually think the styling is a good match for her overall look.
What do you think? Right on point, or a little too clingy and see-through?
