Adele In Stella McCartney – Investitures Ceremony

Adele In Stella McCartney - Investitures CeremonyAdele was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to music, presented to her by Prince Charles, during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London, England on Thursday (December 19).

The British singer-songwriter was decked out in a dress from Stella McCartney’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which had been modified from the lookbook version.

On Adele, the navy and green, feather jacquard printed frock was fitted into a more streamlined, elegant silhouette, replacing the exaggerated flutter sleeve with long sleeves and removing the dropped waist silhouette in exchange for a below-the-knee hemline.

In addition to her medal of honour, she accessorized with a netted headband Philip Treacy fascinator, accented with a jewelled brooch. Of course, her embellished, blue talon manicure was perfectly designed for the occasion.
