19th Annual Art Walk NY

19th Annual Art Walk NY

It was very much a Dolce fest at the 19th Annual Art Walk NY held at 82 Mercer in New York City on Tuesday evening.

Coco Rocha: The model kept it simple yet striking in black wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 black jacquard dress with a lace yoke and sleeve. It’s a shame the shoes are so bland, but she makes up for it with that bright orange lip.

Elettra Wiedemann: Opting for a significantly more captivating Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 frock inspired by the Byzantine mosaics of Sicily’s Monreale Cathedral which sparkle with crystal, sequin and bead detailing, this heavyweight probably didn’t need much accessorising so she added a Rauwolf red clutch and Dolce & Gabbana crucifix earrings.

Hilary Rhoda: By far my favourite from this bunch, I have been obsessed by this ruby crystal-embellished dress for a long while, not only by the colour and bedazzlement, but also the excellent craftsmanship. Simple styling was most definitely the right road to take this exquisite piece down.

Hilary is my favorite–what a beautiful look!!! However I’m enjoying all the lush opulence here.

Hilary wins, but Elettra looks beautiful too. Disappointed by Coco’s presentation, b/c the dress itself is great.

Hilary, hands down. Beautiful dress, gorgeous ruby colour, and I like her toned down styling with the simple black accessories.

I’ve waiting to see the ruby dress worn, I’m surprised it wasn’t snapped by Hollywood stylist before.

I wonder how it feels to wear a dress that costs €35.000. She does look gorgeous.

I’ve been in love with two of these works of art/dresses. I too have been obsessed with this GORGEOUS ruby red creation. I don’t know if it lived up to my expectations/imagination, but it’s still such a beautiful gown. I’d love to see it in person…I also ADORE the mosaic dress. But again, not sure it was as WOW as I had expected.

I adored those two dresses, too. Especially the mosaic. I am a little disappointed to actually see it though. Elettra fails to bring it to life.

I love Hilary’s look. She ‘sells’ everything with her beauty.

I like Coco’s look down till the loose lacey neckline, but I wish the dress had a different texture and the shoes are indeed bland.

The mosaic dress is fun if gimmicky and as such the novelty has already worn off from seeing it before.

I agree, Hilary’s look is my favourite too. The styling is subdued, but it lets the amazing dress shine, so I’m happy.
