Lena Headey In Alessandra Rich – 2013 Emmy Awards

Lena Headey In Alessandra Rich - 2013 Emmy Awards

Lena Headey attended the 2013 Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California alongside her ‘Game of Thrones’ co-star Emilia Clarke.

Living up to the wanton woman she portrays in the hit TV show, she wore a very sexy and revealing Alessandra Rich Fall 2013 sheer black snakeskin-print dress with a thigh-high slit which she opted not to line.

Tina Thor jewels, white L.A.M.B pumps and a wavy updo completed her look.

The white pumps bugged me for about a second, but I like the contrast, especially as she went for barely there makeup.

There isn’t anything I like about this look. I much prefer the lookbook version with illusion of a darker mini dress underneath. The shoes are so terrible. It looks like she lost her other shoes and only had these terrible white ones in the car.

I also don’t understand why I like it, but I kinda do. Except for the jarring white pumps.

She’s beautiful and the dress actually suits her in a funny way but the cheap-looking white shoes are just awful. That trend is officially dead to me now. Can it please go away?

This must be a joke. WHITE SHOES WITH THAT DRESS??

I really hate this sheer skirt – with an Esther Williams style undergarment look. Enough already. It’s not shocking, it’s not stylish, it’s just trashy and tacky. Lena has the potential to look amazing and yet she continues to underwhelm on the red carpet. I HATE the shoes.

This has every factor to make me hate it… but I love it. I don’t know how she does this things but Lena is a genius on the red carpet.

One of the worst dressed of the night.

Thank you! HOW do people like this? I just don’t get it.

I adore this look from head to toe. The hair with the makeup and shoes works perfectly. Sexy and sophisticated!

      +1

She is a real goddess, how can someone wear something so lace-y and sheer and still look classy?

A rather obvious attempt at grabbing attention, and I don’t think it worked. Nor do the shoes–and this comes from probably the greatest disciple of the white shoe trend on this blog…

No the shoes are real bad with the dress. Can’t look past it.

I don’t like the dress and I think the shoes are not working with the dress. Still, she looks beautiful !

  13. Alina September 23, 2013 at 2:21 pm #

I really should not like this, but for some reason I do.

I agree. I kinda like it too. I think somehow she’s working it. But I would’ve liked it more if the skirt was lined.

        Me too.

    • adrian September 23, 2013 at 6:27 pm #

I can’t say I love it but I am just flabbergasted that I don’t hate it. And for that reason I think I love it.

So this is really trashy. Also: no to the white shoes.

Don’t like this at all especially the shoes.

Agreed. A completely boring, uninspiring, and underwhelming look.
