‘Vous N’avez Encore Rien Vu’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

It was damp night on the red carpet, in more ways than one, at the ‘Vous N’avez Encore Rien Vu’ premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival this evening.

Li Bingbing: The Asian actress wore a Gucci petrol blue gown embellished with black leather details on the shoulders. Also jumping on the dark lip colour trend, she completed her look with a slicked back bun and a Gucci black clutch.

Najwa Karam: The Lebanese singer wore a Zuhair Murad gown. The nude long-sleeve gown with white embroidered details fails to excite. I never thought I would say that about a Zuhair Murad gown.

Bérénice Marlohe: The new Bond girl wore a custom gold lamé Emilio Pucci gown. Her halter gown with a pleated skirt and black lace insert is not my favourite Pucci gown of this festival. With her hair pulled back she opted for a nude lip colour and smoky eyes. Swarovski jewels completed her look.

This has to be the most disappointing night in Cannes history.

Hopefully the Chopard Party at the L’Oreal Suite will grant us with some great red carpet looks.

I was just going thru the Cannes pics again and isn’t Najwa’s Zuhair gown the same gown JLo wore to the recent Golden Globes?!

Agree that these three were not so exiting.

So lets focus on something completely different: I think Bianca Balti looked stunning in Cannes on the red carpet (saturday 19 may) in her dramatic flowery dress. But then again, maybe its not so hard for a supermodel to look stunning.

      Yes, she was totally gorgeous!

WOW , The Wight dress is so Classy !
that Najwa karam looks like an arabic princess
    I LOVED IT !

I don’t find any of these looks exciting. The Zuhair Murad dress looks like a failed wedding gown, the green dress is nice but very common and the last one is just OK ,nothing breathtaking.

That dress on Najwa is a disaster really – so tacky – the other two fair better but overall it’s a disappointing night

Najwa Karam looks trashy, Bérénice Marlohe’s isn’t much better and Li Bingbing gets a pass but only just. Bad night for fashion!

Indeed a lame night. But how about the duo Aurelie Maggiori and Sylvie Hoarau? They were quite interesting 🙂

I don’t think it’s the most disappointing night in Cannes history, I like the 3 dresses. After, it’s a disappointing night concerning the make-up indeed !! I can’t wait for tomorow with Brangelina …

Love the color of Li’s gown but not the plunging neckline or feather accents. Also, I am not on board with the dark lip trend. It always seems so harsh.
While Najwa’s dress could be cool with a totally different color scheme, in nude and bright white (looks like stiff cake frosting) it is tacky.
Berenice’s dress is the best. However, I don’t like the black lace insert at all–would have preferred a solid gold top. Also, the halter design and her posture don’t work together.

WOOOOOW Najwa’s derss is so chic …. I love it .

Li Bingbing’s dress is beautiful but I don’t like hair and make up. The others… well… tackyville, really.

When is Sonam Kapoor walking the red carpet in Cannes… I was also waiting for her picture from Gucci-Vanity fair party…

OMG !! Najwa karam sure is a lady with this mpressive dress ! Bravo Zuhair Mrad !

I’ve liked the dress of Najwa Karam …. It’s outstanding !!!

  16. wisam May 21, 2012 at 20:20 #

Woww Najwa Karam Queen!!!Omg she’s looking Amazing!!!!!!!!

  17. Shaina May 21, 2012 at 20:18 #

For me its not the dresses that are bad but the girls fail to sell these looks to me. I’m not a fan of the makeup on Bérénice, and Najwa’s hair needs to be pulled back. As for Li, she is the best of the three, but I’m still not in love with this dark lip trend.

    Very disappointing.

najwa karam dress is extremely horrible! nude tail !!!what she was thinking!

  19. Riley May 21, 2012 at 19:55 #

Li Bing Bing’s style is reserved chic, so she isn’t going to be wearing look-at-me looks.

The Zuhair Murad gown is okay but it’s a little tacky but still Couture.

I like the Emilio Pucci dress without the awkward black lace insert.

For me the only one who catch my eyes from this post is Li Bing Bing. She just ooze class in her gown (if we compare to other two looks)

  21. aline May 21, 2012 at 19:44 #

the dress of Najwa karam is so great and classy !!
I disagree with you …. she was like a queen .

  22. Yeliz May 21, 2012 at 19:22 #

Berenice Marlohe looks fine, Li Bingbing looks meh and Najwa Karam looks bad.
Overall it really is a disappointing red carpet.

There’s only one look that I kinda like from tonight’s red carpet, has to be berenice marlohe’s Pucci gown. Besides that, it was pretty much a lackluster premiere
