Lily Allen In Vivienne Westwood – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Lily Allen In Vivienne Westwood - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Lily Allen turned heads with her own version of a mullet, as she entered the 2014 British Fashion Awards on Monday (December 1), which were held at the London Coliseum in London, England.

Never one to be a shrinking violet, she continued to indulge her quirky style personality in a Vivienne Westwood Spring 2015 baby-blue gown.

The short, cowl-neck dress was enveloped by a cape at the back, lending itself to a high-low effect. Unfortunately, the look translated as rumpled and ill-fitting.

For better or worse, the devilish styling helped distract attention away from the frock. Attaching a costume-y pair of gold-tipped pink horns within her melon-hued pixie cut, Lily finished the look with similarly silly and puzzling accessories. Nude pumps with teal toecaps and that metal chain handbag belonged nowhere near this concoction.

The devil’s all in the details of this mystifying look. Lily’s guardian fashion angels must have taken the day off.

Mollie King In Patricia Bonaldi – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Mollie King In Patricia Bonaldi - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Mollie King returned to the red carpet, posing solo sans her plus-four from The Saturdays, for the 2014 British Fashion Awards on Monday (December 1), hosted at the London Coliseum in London, England.

The British songstress explored a different side of her style personality, debuting a Patricia Bonaldi Spring 2015 sheer, peekaboo gown that was spun in soft gold metallic embroidery.

The illusion bodice was seemingly a bit constraining, so I find it better to focus on this shimmery dress from the waist down—that is until reaching the black sandals, which would have better served the look in a similar metallic shade.

Mixing the golden goddess angle with vampy edge, she painted on a deep oxblood lip and swept those blonde locks into a rather strange, partless ’do; daresay, it had inklings of a faux mullet of sorts.

What do you make of her entrance?

Anna Kendrick In Victoria Beckham – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Anna Kendrick In Victoria Beckham - 2014 British Fashion Awards

After Sunday’s London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, Anna Kendrick was back on the red carpet tonight (December 1) for the 2014 British Fashion Awards, in partnership with Swarovski, held at the London Coliseum in London, England.

The ‘Into the Woods’ actress maintained a similar aura of grace in a Victoria Beckham strapless sheath dress, as she presented the Brand of the Year trophy to Victoria Beckham.

Doing right by the designer, Anna was the epitome of effortless sophistication with the blush-tinged hue a lovely counterpoint against her alabaster skin.

Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ soft metallic pumps and a corresponding Louboutin clutch punctuated the look with understated flash. I do love that she opted to keep her décolletage bare, pulling her hair into a simple updo and accessorizing with De Beers studs.

Naomie Harris In Peter Pilotto – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Naomie Harris In Peter Pilotto - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Naomie Harris attended the 2014 British Fashion Awards, sponsored by Swarovski, hosted on Monday evening (December 1) at the London Coliseum in London, England.

The British actress stepped out in a Peter Pilotto Spring 2015 design, constructed in shades of pink from Swiss lace with Perspex embellishment and, appropriately, Swarovski crystals.

The dazzle was really in the details of the dress—not that it wasn’t a powerhouse statement from a distance. But, up close, the workmanship of the embroidery and the abstract, artsy flair was fully glimpsed. Near or far, though, the dress was punchy and playful—and full-on leggy. Cut to a mini length, the frock fully displayed Naomie’s enviable pins.

Choosing not to compete with the dress, she smartly opted against the rainbow runway shoe instead topping off the look with a black pair of sandals, alongside nude makeup and voluminous waves.

2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Menswear Roundup

2014 London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Menswear Roundup

David Beckham wasn’t the only handsome gent on the red carpet for the 60th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at the London Palladium on Sunday (November 30) in London, England.

Benedict Cumberbatch: The actor looked very smart and handsome on the red carpet, decked in a peek lapel suit before his presenting duties at the event. Once again my eyes headed straight to his lovely fiancée, director Sophie Hunter, who again wore an Erdem gown, this time selecting a Pre-Fall 2014 Bayleigh jacquard gown rendered with bubblegum, burgundy and merlot roses.

Tom Hiddleston: Prepare to swoon once again, this time for the winner of the Best Actor award, Tom Hiddleston, who looked very dapper in his black Alexander McQueen shawl collar tuxedo styled with a tonal skull bow tie and skull cufflinks. He was giving Becks a run for his money when it comes to best dressed male at this event.
