Thandie Newton In Erdem – 2017 Elle Style Awards

Thandie Newton attended the 2017 Elle Style Awards on Monday (February 13) in London.

The floral fantasia we expect from Erdem made way for decorative, colourful embroidery which reflected beautifully in the light on Thandie’s two-piece Pre-Fall 2017 look.

With Thandie’s hair taking away the focus from her BAFTAs gown, she opted for a chic top knot on this occasion.

Like Felicity Jones, I much prefer this second look. This feels so much more relaxed and in keeping with Thandie’s usual style.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Christian Dior Couture – ‘The Party’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Kristin Scott Thomas attended ‘The Party’ premiere during the 2017 Berlinale International Film Festival on Monday (February 13).

Despite her Christian Dior Spring 2017 Couture gown only being presented last month, this is a resolute classic piece with Old-Hollywood appeal.

I love the plush midnight blue velvet fabric and longer than tea-length. She’s positively radiant.

This might just be Kristin’s best look yet.

Anya Taylor-Joy In Burberry – 2017 Elle Style Awards

The belle of the BAFTAs ball – Anya Taylor-Joy – attended the 2017 Elle Style Awards on Monday (February 13) in London.

Wearing head-to-toe Burberry, I’m sure some of you are welcoming this new silhouette.

Taking its cue from a man’s tuxedo jacket, the reimagined piece gives Anya a new lease of life as working this look with plenty of attitude and a Messika ear cuff – which I love.

Do you prefer this over the two Elie Saab looks?

Armie Hammer In Todd Snyder, Brunello Cucinelli & Burberry – ‘Final Portrait’, ‘Call Me by Your Name’ Berlin Film Festival Photocalls & Premiere

Armie Hammer is currently Berlin, Germany promoting ‘Final Portrait’ and ‘Call Me by Your Name’ during the 2017 Berlinale International Film Festival.

‘Final Portrait’ photocall: It’s not often we see Armie’s casual side, but even in this Todd Snyder and J Brand combo, he still possess that air of gentlemanly charm.

‘Final Portrait’ premiere: Now this is the Armie Hammer we all know and love. Dashing, debonair and looking incredibly handsome in Brunello Cucinelli, he never fails to serve up sartorial excellence.

‘Call Me by Your Name’ photocall: Going from casual to smart to contemporary, the actor Burberry look – infused with warm nutmeg hues – was surprisingly my favourite of the trio.

Arizona Muse In Galvan – 2017 Elle Style Awards

Arizona Muse attended the 2017 Elle Style Awards on Monday (February 13) in London.

Opting for casual glamour the model wore a Galvan Pre-Fall 2017 slip dress which if not for the punchy colour would’ve been quite flat.

I felt like Arizona relied heavily on the colour to do all the heavy lifting as the styling isn’t very inspiring.

2017 Grammy Awards Menswear

The 2017 Grammy Awards wasn’t without its fair share of menswear looks that ran the gamut from traditional to totally out-there.

John Legend: The singer kept it classic in a Gucci black suit, made unique by virtue of the dark rose-coloured dress shirt and matching floral-printed bow tie.

Desiigner: Like some of the girls at the Grammys, the hip hop artist also bared his chest in a luxe velvet vintage Armani suit in a rich eggplant hue styled with Jimmy Choo boots and the requisite chains.

Anderson Paak: The rapper opted for a directional Rick Owens ensemble that was monk-meets-musician.

2017 Grammy Awards Artists Second Looks

For the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA, some stars didn’t only rock one look. It was a double feature—a triple feature for a few—with quick changes all night long.

Celine Dion: Don’t let the side view of this Mugler Pre-Fall 2017 black gown fool you. It was still slit way up to there, as presented in the look book, showing off some major leg as the music icon took the stage to present the award for Song of the Year.
