Comic-Con 2015 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic Con

Here is a roundup of some of the other events which took place last night (July 9) during Comic-Con 2015 in San Diego.

Ashley Benson: I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Ashley’s style, but I simply adore this sweet offering from Valentino. While the look may have benefited from her hair being pulled back, I love the simple styling which included Aldo sandals.

Willow Shields: Joining Jennifer Lawrence for the Lionsgate press panel to present ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2′, the young actress wore a House of Holland cross over dress typically playful thanks to its bold blue and purple contrasting plaid panels.

Holland Roden: Back stateside after a short jaunt to Paris, the ‘Teen Wolf’ star attended the FOX International Studios’ Comic-Con Party. I love how the bold stripes and florals enhance the classic A-line silhouette of her Kate Spade New York ensemble.

Jennifer Lawrence In Louis Vuitton – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2′ Comic-Con 2015 Panel

Jennifer Lawrence In Louis Vuitton - 'The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 2' Comic-Con 2015 Press Conference

Jennifer Lawrence attended the Lionsgate press room during Comic-Con 2015 to present ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2′ at the Hilton Bayfront on Thursday (July 9) in San Diego, California with her co-stars.

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 dress in a soft, relaxed silhouette in atypical French manner.

I love the effortlessness, fluidity, the fact that this is not Dior and the youthful vibe.

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the boho wavy tresses for Jennifer, but the style works well with this laidback look.

Valentino ‘Mirabilia Romae’ Fall 2015 Couture Front Row

Valentino 'Mirabilia Romae' Fall 2015 Couture Front Row

Valentino held their ‘Mirabilia Romae’ Fall 2015 Haute Couture show at Piazza Mignanelli on Thursday (July 9) in Rome, Italy.

This appeared to be a very fancy affair, as all the attendees were decked out in full-length gowns.

Gwyneth Paltrow: It’s great to see Gwyneth step outside that fitted-mini-dress box she’s so comfortable in, but this Valentino Fall 2015 shapeless sack of a dress doesn’t do it for me. The only thing I love is the colour, as she’s tends to stick to black or white.

Tilda Swinton: As you know I am a huge fan of Tilda’s style, yet I couldn’t get behind this Valentino Fall 2015 white gown. I don’t find it particularly flattering and I couldn’t get the image of a priests robe out of my mind.

Front Row @ Fall 2015 Couture Week

Front Row @ Fall 2015 Couture Week

Fashionable femmes have been in attendance at a range of shows during Paris Fall 2015 Couture Fashion Week in Paris, France.

Olivia Palermo: Included in her fashion show rounds, Olivia was at the Schiaparelli presentation on Monday (July 6), where she opted to wear a Christian Dior gingham frock. Styled with flats and a silk printed scarf, the ensemble did possess a certain charm. But the deep and wide plunge neckline did no favours to the otherwise sweet silhouette.

Paz Vega: While the sheer overload continues, I still absolutely loved Paz’s Ralph & Russo Couture outing at the Ralph & Russo Couture show on Tuesday (July 7). The combination of enchanting, laser-cut white lace and the glamorous, old-Hollywood peplum silhouette had me at hello—and the daring punch of the scorpion-encrusted clutch only furthered my affection for the look.

Lupita Nyong’o
: The actress was definitively elegant in a Maison Margiela sheer-paneled dress at the Maison Margiela Couture show on Wednesday (July 8). While the impeccable tailoring contributed to the success of the ensemble, it was refreshing to likewise see Lupita veer slightly outside the box with funky platform heels—although this would have been a nice occasion to bring in a vibrant lip, too.

Armani Privé Fall 2015 Front Row

Armani Privé Fall 2015 Couture Front Row

The Armani Prive Fall 2015 show took place on Tuesday (July 7) in Paris, France.

Naomi Watts: This white Giorgio Armani piece is a sheer delight with its delicate display of embroidered lace and straightforward design. I like how Naomi kept the styling simple with nude pumps. While I love this summery offering, what I’m most impressed about here is the amount of volume in Naomi’s hair.

Chrissy Tiegen: The handsome couple continue to do the rounds during fashion week. Chrissy is known for her love for Zuhair Murad gowns and John is known for his commitment to Gucci, so could this chic showing at Couture week see them switching to Armani? Unless Giorgio makes gowns for Chrissy that are plunging to the navel and slit to the thigh, I can’t see it, but I’m happy to be proved wrong.

Chanel Fall 2015 Couture Front Row

Chanel Fall 2015 Front Row

Kristen Stewart, Julianne Moore and Rita Ora were front and center at Karl Lagerfeld’s casino-themed Fall 2015 Chanel Couture show on Tuesday (July 7).

Kristen Stewart: As chic as her Chanel velvet suit is, the poor girl looked absolutely exhausted.

Julianne Moore: Invited to bring a touch of glamour to proceedings, the Oscar-winning actress wore an Oscar-worthy Chanel velvet green gown which was perhaps overcooked with that shooting-star necklace.

Rita Ora: What can I say other than poor Coco is spinning right now.
