Kate Winslet In Alexander McQueen – ‘Steve Jobs’ London Film Festival Closing Night Premiere

Kate Winslet In Alexander McQueen - ‘Steve Jobs’ London Film Festival Closing Night Premiere

Kate Winslet attended the ‘Steve Jobs’ closing night gala premiere during the BFI London Film Festival on Sunday (October 18) in England.

This may come as a surprise to some, but this gave me goosebumps.

Yes, this Alexander McQueen gown is nothing we haven’t seen on Kate numerous of times before, but her body looks incredible, the gown fits to perfection plus the Alexander McQueen clutch and combination of jewels from Boucheron and De Beers rounding things off elegantly.

If it ain’t broke…

Cate Blanchett In Schiaparelli Couture & Alexander McQueen – ‘Truth’ Fellowship Special Presentation Gala & London Film Festival Awards

Cate Blanchett In Schiaparelli Couture & Alexander McQueen - 'Truth' Fellowship Special Presentation Gala & London Film Festival Awards

Cate Blanchett attended the ‘Truth’ Fellowship special presentation gala during the BFI London Film Festival on Saturday (October 17) in London, England before attending the London Film Festival Awards, where she picked up the BFI Fellowship Award.

‘Truth’ Fellowship Special Presentation Gala: I’m sure your reaction to Cate wearing this Schiaparelli Fall 2015 Couture velvet and floral dress was, “this is more like it”. Cate was back to her regal, breath-taking, you-can’t-touch-this best. This is the wow moment I have been waiting for since she started this promo tour. The look was styled with Roger Vivier ‘Dorsay’ pailettes pumps.

London Film Festival Awards: High with happiness from her first look, my initial reaction to seeing Cate in this Alexander McQueen gown was also positive, but on closer inspection I think the fit is way off around the hips and even worse from the back. This is quite surprising for a McQueen piece.

Katherine Waterston In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – ‘Steve Jobs’ London Film Festival Closing Night Premiere

Katherine Waterston In Nicholas Oakwell F13 Couture - 'Steve Jobs' London Film Festival Closing Night Screening

Katherine Waterston attended the ‘Steve Jobs’ closing night gala premiere during the BFI London Film Festival on Sunday (October 18) in England.

The actress may have been M.I.A. on the red carpet for a while, but her love for all things black and mysterious haven’t changed.

Doused in romantic Gothic drama, this sheer gown with velvet appliqués from Nicholas Oakwell’s Fall 2013 Couture collection is a sublimely sophisticated evening option.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, she never bores me in all black.

Rachel Weisz In Lanvin - 'Youth' London Film Festival Screening

Following ‘The Lobster’ premiere, Rachel Weisz was back on the red carpet during the BFI London Film Festival for the ‘Youth’ screening on Thursday (October 15) in London, England.

The actress yet again opted for a season appropriate look, wearing a brown and gold floral-lamé custom made Lanvin gown inspired by the Fall 2015 collection, which evokes 1970s night-time glamour.

Oozing effortless elegance, the look was simply styled with a black clutch and jewelled bracelet.

Which look did you prefer. This or the Alexander McQueen gown for ‘The Lobster’ premiere?

Laura Carmichael In Christopher Kane - 'Burn, Burn, Burn' London Premiere

Laura Carmichael attended a screening of ‘Burn Burn Burn’ during the BFI London Film Festival at Vue West End on Thursday (October 15) in London, England.

As you know I’m not the greatest fan of Laura’s style, but this Christopher Kane Spring 2016 asymmetrical dress made me stand up and take notice.

Distinctly modern and wildly charged with urban fervour the look was simply styled with sky-high Louboutins and smouldering smokey eyes.
