Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Best Mini Award
Keri Hilson was one of my favourites at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards.

She wore cute yet sexy mini by Australian designer, Aurelio Costarella.

The corseted dress with a sheer yoke, embellished bustier and bell-shaped skirt is just the type of youthful sexy dress I would expect someone like Keri to rock on the red carpet.

Her look was styled with an Isharya gold mirrored polki ring and gold lace accented heels.

I’m sensing whoever made these took inspiration from Alexander McQueen, but they didn’t quite have the finesse to make them as well as they ones designed by McQueen.

Update: These heels were custom-made by Alana Hale.

Finally, Lanvin That Actually Looks Good On The Red Carpet Award
Only Tilda Swinton can fearlessly and effectively pull off Lanvin.

We’ve seen so many people try and fail, but Tilda totally rocked this Lanvin Fall 2010 black dress on the red carpet at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards.

Her futuristic long-sleeved Lanvin was styled with slicked-back hair and pair of black ankle-strap sandals completes the look.

The pop of colour came from her green eyes.

Best Maternity Award
Soon we will have a red carpet full of pregnant celebrities, but Natalie Portman is the busiest during Awards Season.

The mum-to-be dressed her baby bump in a one-shoulder Gianfranco Ferré maxi-dress for the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards.

She teamed her dress with her favourite black Dior clutch.

This was an amazing choice for Natalie because the white makes her glow even more.

Best Newcomer Award
Jennifer Lawrence continues to shine on the red carpet.

Last night at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards she wore L’Wren Scott peach and gold ombre sequin dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her body-conscious sequin dress was accessorized with a gold box clutch and nude Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ strappy heels.

Many of you weren’t happy with her hairstyle for her previous look, but on this occasion she opted for a sexy updo.

Vintage Inspired Award
Michelle Williams graced 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet wearing a vintage-inspired Balenciaga gown.

Her floor length gown with a rise and fall hem and embroidered floral details was utterly sophisticated.

This is one of my favourite looks from Michelle in a very long while.

Ferragamo satin pumps and Neil Lane jewelery complemented her look.

Most Improved Award
Following her previous red carpet appearance, this is a much improved look for Annette Bening.

She glowed on the red carpet wearing a Georges Hobeika Spring 2011 gown.

Her pastel yellow gown with sequin embroidered details is so refreshing. It’s good to see her in a colour other than black.

A Judith Leiber clutch and Chopard jewels complete her look.
