amfAR New York Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Many more models were in attendance at the 19th Annual amfAR New York Gala, honouring Donatella Versace, on Wednesday (February 8) in New York City.

Adriana Lima: Although she wasn’t dressed in Versace, the supermodel’s Zuhair Murad dressing gown-inspired design, paired with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, brought plenty of seductive appeal. While the lace lingerie aesthetic is nothing new, there’s no denying that Adriana—and her dramatic red lip—delivered the look with smoldering allure that could easily make us forget the sheer fatigue.

Liu Wen: Compared to Adriana, the model’s Rita Vinieri black and white gown seemed mighty tame. Yet I loved the ease with which she wore this minimalistic moment that was assured of a classically sophisticated standing at the event. Giuseppe Zanotti sandals finished the look.

I really wanted more from Tracee. She’s always been a fan of colour, so this felt a bit drab.

Angela Sarafyan In Zac Posen- 2017 SAG Awards

Angela Sarafyan attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘Westworld’ star wore beautifully structured gown from the Zac Posen Spring 2017 collection.

Patterns can be a tricky conceit with evening wear, but the restrained, classic silhouette keeps the look from being too loud.

Her side swept wavy locks are the perfect finishing touch for the polished look.

Ali Larter In Zac Posen – 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Ali Larter took a turn down the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards 2017 on Wednesday (January 18) in LA.

This Zac Posen Spring 2017 design was rendered in a colour that was radiant for the actress.

For Spring, Zac Posen brought elements of his signature gowns to daytime looks and shorter dresses. With Ali’s frock, it was the sculpted bodice and the sculptural hemline that floated away from the body that were reminiscent of those gowns.

Still, that floating hem was a bit strange at some angles. It sometimes looked as if she had major static electricity in her skirt.

Nina Dobrev In Zac Posen – ‘xXx’: Return of Xander Cage’ London Premiere

Nina Dobrev joined Deepika Paukone at the ‘xXx’: Return of Xander Cage’ premiere, hosted at O2 Cineworld in London, England on Tuesday, January 10.

Staying away from the shade of red, she debuted a Zac Posen corset frock strewn in pebble-like seafoam green beading that lit up the red carpet in radiant form.

You could nearly imagine this dazzling little frock in ball gown form.

Yet I loved the lighter, flirty take on it that was the epitome of fresh and modern enchantment. And, Nina’s newly shorn, on-trend shag bob only heightened the effect.

‘The Color Purple’ Broadway Opening Night

'The Color Purple' Broadway Opening Night

A host of stars turned out to celebrate ‘The Color Purple’ Broadway Opening Night on Thursday (December 10) in New York City; supporting leading ladies Jennifer Hudson and Danielle Brooks.

Jennifer Hudson: I’m sure this gown needs no introduction, from the jewel tone and architectural design this is classic Zac Posen.

Laverne Cox: The ‘OITNB’ actress was serving up a sultry retro vibe wearing a fringed Tom Ford gown styled with an Edie Parker clutch. Both the pose and the styling is selling this look to me.

Uzo Aduba: Also decked out in Zac Posen, this pretty pink dress may suffer from the odd crease here and there, but the colour, style and styling have me interested.

Lupita Nyong’o In ZAC Zac Posen – Star Wars ‘Force 4 Fashion’ Event

Lupita Nyong'o In ZAC Zac Posen - Star Wars 'Force 4 Fashion' Event

Lupita Nyong’o attended the Star Wars ‘Force 4 Fashion’ Event on Wednesday (December 2) at the Skylight Modern in New York City, where designers showcased bespoke looks inspired by characters from ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ that will be auctioned off for Bloomingdale’s holiday charity.

The actress wore a one-of-a-kind ZAC Zac Posen dress coded by teenage girls from across the country through Google’s Made with Code initiative.

We’re not used to seeing Lupita in black, but I do like the galactic feeling I get from this piece, which ties in nicely with the movie.

Sadly I’m not to enthused by her Christian Louboutin ‘Tac Clac’ shoe choice.
