Red Carpet Fashion Awards

There was no doubt in your minds that Diane Kruger was your favourite this week wearing Jason Wu.

The German actress oozed sexy sophistication as walked the steps of the Met with her thigh firmly on display.

I knew no one would sway me from going with Christina Ricci this week.

The petite actress looked 6ft tall in her Zac Posen Couture gown at the Met Gala.

As I said on the night, she was one of the few who got the memo that this event was about McQueen, not Stella McCartney.

She brought some much needed drama to this event, whilst capturing the spirit of McQueen.

Credit to her and Zac for pulling off what no one else did on the night.

Reese Witherspoon is currently in Australia with Robert Pattinson promoting their new movie, “Water For Elephants.”

At the Sydney Premiere today, Reese wore yet another strapless dress.

Her Zac Posen Fall 2011 teal dress has very interesting suede fold details on the bodice.

To stop this look from giving us deja vu, Reese opted for cute curly bouncy locks.

Black Christian Louboutin peep-toes completed her look.

This is a very pretty version of what’s become a very formulaic look.

Christina Ricci may have worn Zac Posen to the 2011 Met Gala last night, but the totally captured the spirit of McQueen.

She was one of the few who did.

Ricci glided down the red carpet wearing a custom couture Zac Posen creation with a dramatic train.

I saw this dress when she arrived with the designer, and the pictures are not doing this ombre and lace detailed corseted gown any favours.

She effortlessly works this mermaid silhouette with great style and finesse.

Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Hayden Panettiere attended the “Scream 4″ LA Premiere last night in Hollywood.

She opted to wear a rich orange Zac Posen bold shoulder dress with delicate folds and eye-catching draping.

Hollywood’s favourite heel, the black satin Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps, was her footwear of choice when a golden sparkler would’ve been a better option.

Hayden accessorized with a Judith Leiber “Alleta” clutch and diamond drop earrings.

The dress is doing all the work here, because Hayden looks the same as she always does.

Nice, but *shrugs*

All White On The Night Award
Kerry Washington would have turned plenty of heads at the 2011 NAACP Image Awards which took place in LA this weekend.

She looked breath-taking wearing a crisp ivory Zac Posen gown.

Her ivory gown with flutter sleeves and a train was paired with Stephen Webster jewels and a white clutch.

Kerry’s gown and jewels are doing all the work here, because I don’t like her make-up.

She may have been going for a natural look, but I would’ve loved to have seen a beautiful lip colour to brighten up this look even more.

Naomi Watts opted for black at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night.

She wore a Zac Posen Spring 2011 pin-tuck gown with feather details flowing from the train.

The dress also has a sheer diamond-shaped panel shows off her midriff.

A diamond bangle and a Ferragamo gold metal minaudière with black leather details completed her look.

It’s usual for Naomi to work so much detail into one look. I’m still on the fence as to whether she pulled it off.

I think I’d like to see this dress on someone much taller.
