Noomi Rapace In Vivenne Westwood & Vionnet - ‘The Sea of Trees’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Noomi Rapace was at the ‘The Sea of Trees’ premiere and the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala, both hosted during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

‘The Sea of Trees’ Premiere: The Swedish star’s Vivienne Westwood asymmetrical gown didn’t boast any bold beading or shiny sequins, but the designer’s signature silhouette manifested in an intense red hue with tonal striping was enough to make a dramatic impact, with a matching crimson red lip rounding out her entrance on Saturday (May 16).

: For the gala, hosted at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21), she breathed some vibrant life into her elegant black lace Vionnet backless gown with her strawberry lip and turquoise handbag—even if the clutch was a bit too big.

Best Dressed Of The Week - Celia Freijeiro In Vivienne Westwood, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Burberry Prorsum & Chris Hemsworth in Salvatore Ferragamo

This week you selected Celia Freijeiro in Vivienne Westwood for your best dressed this week, while I went gaga over the stunning Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Burberry Prorsum.

When it came to the fellas, even with such a strong diverse group, there was one very clear winner; Chris Hemsworth in Salvatore Ferragamo.

Noomi Rapace In Vivienne Westwood – ‘Child 44′ London Premiere

Noomi Rapace In Vivienne Westwood - 'Child 44' London Premiere

Noomi Rapace attended the UK Premiere of ‘Child 44′ at Vue West End on Thursday (April 16) in London, England.

The Swedish actress wore a black and gold gown from Vivienne Westwood Fall 2015 collection, which is the designer’s version of a modern princess gown with a rebellious edge.

You would think someone as petite as Noomi would be swamped by this elaborate piece, especially with those puffy sleeves, but I think she carries this off with grace.

Despite my positive outlook on this, I’m not sure it will go down too well.

Celia Freijeiro In Vivienne Westwood – Valle-Inclán Theatre Awards

Celia Freijeiro In Vivienne Westwood - Valle-Inclán Theatre Awards

Celia Freijeiro hosted the Valle-Inclán Theatre Awards held in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday (April 14).

I’m certain this gown needs no introduction as it’s classic Vivienne Westwood.

From the hypnotic colour, to the draped design and corseted waist, there is no chance of me growing tired of Vivienne’s signature gowns any time soon.

The gown is further enhanced by Celia’s beauty, flowing locks and effortless styling.

One of the BDOTW list me thinks. Do you agree?

Laura Carmichael In Vivienne Westwood – 2015 Olivier Awards

Laura Carmichael In Vivienne Westwood - 2015 Olivier Awards

Laura Carmichael attended The Olivier Awards at The Royal Opera House on Sunday (April 12) in London, England.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore a distinctive lace dress from Vivienne Westwood’s Spring 2015 capsule collection, which exudes an old Hollywood kind of femininity.

Styled with a Vivienne Westwood ‘Grace’ clutch and Kurt Geiger ‘Bond’ heels, I really wanted to get more excited about the overall look, but Laura doesn’t really sell it to me.

Hopefully Dita von Teese will get a chance to breathe more life into this frock.

Michelle Rodriguez In Vivienne Westwood – ‘Furious 7′ LA Premiere

Michelle Rodriguez In Vivienne Westwood - 'Furious 7' LA Premiere

Michelle Rodriguez attended the LA premiere of ‘Furious 7′ at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Wednesday (April 1) in Hollywood, California.

The actress, who continues to scrub up very well on the red carpet, wore a signature corset gown by Vivienne Westwood.

As signature gowns go, this is so very pretty with its delicate lace overlay. We may see this style time and time again, but funnily enough hardly ever the exact same colour or fabrication.

I love how Michelle’s rebellious spirit still shines through despite the glamorous nature of this look. She never losses herself when she steps outside her comfort zone.

A dramatic piece like this should always speak for itself, so just a maroon stone ring to complement her look was all that was needed.
