Marion Cotillard In Vivienne Westwood - Chopard Lunch

Marion Cotillard attended the Chopard Lunch during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in France this afternoon.

You will be as shocked as I am to discover that she’s not wearing Dior.

While she is the perfect ambassador for the French brand, we long to see her in something less predictable.

On this occasion she fulfilled our non-Dior-look-for-a-refreshing-change desires by wearing a Vivienne Westwood corseted gown.

Her fluorescent pink-and-ivory silk-jacquard strapless gown with a high-low hem may be considered a tad too revealing for a luncheon but, as the saying goes, ‘this is Cannes so anything goes’.

Opting for minimal makeup, she completed her look with a Chopard ring and tan sandals.

Are you glad to see her wearing something other than Dior, or would you have preferred something more conservative for a luncheon?

Bradley Cooper In Ermenegildo Zegna & Vivienne Westwood MAN - The Today Show & The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon

It was a busy day for Bradley Cooper, who was promoting his latest movie ‘The Hangover Part 3’.

He started his day on the Today show, when he made every woman in America swoon by presenting Matt Lauer’s co-presenter Savannah Guthrie with a bunch of red roses after she announced her engagement.

The actor looked very handsome, wearing an Ermenegildo Zegna grey two-button notched-lapel suit with a blue button-down shirt sans tie.

Later the same day, Bradley continued to promote his new movie with a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon’, wearing a Vivienne Westwood suit.

His navy suit styled with a light-blue shirt and tie gets it second outing, as the actor first wore this suit to the 2013 Elle Style Awards.

Lucy Liu In Vivienne Westwood & J Mendel - American Ballet Theatre's Opening Night Spring Gala

Lucy Liu was a vision in white while attending the American Ballet Theatre’s Opening Night Spring Gala held at the Lincoln Center on Monday evening in New York City.

The ‘Elementary’ actress wore a signature Vivienne Westwood strapless gown.

Her beautifully crafted gown drapes at the waist then elegantly falls to the ground, creating a small train.

I simply adore the J. Mendel capelet she added to gown. It elevates the gown to a whole new level.

Silver Lorraine Schwartz jewels, a simple ponytail and a gold Ferragamo clutch provided the finishing touches to her BDOTW-worthy look – even on Cannes week.

My girl crush just deepened.

British Academy Television Awards 2013

Here is a roundup of the rest of the looks from the British Academy Television Awards 2013 held at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday.

Millie Mackintosh: Opting to steal the limelight from the celebs at this event, the reality TV star wore a daring Sass & Bide Fall 2013 strapless gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, gold-plated accent, keyhole cut-out and thigh-high slit. Gold cuffs, a Swarovski clutch and black strappy heels completed her look. If stealing the limelight was her intention, I would say this was mission accomplished.

Holly Willoughby: I love Holly’s red Valentino one-shoulder gown; however, her black platform heels are a huge letdown. They are so clunky and heavy in comparison to the rest of her look. She can do – and has done – much better.

Jessica Hynes: This Vivienne Westwood gown was one of my favourites on the night. The black silk gown, with a ruched pale-pink chiffon-trimmed neckline, draped detail at the back and draped over-the-shoulder detail, gives her a beautiful silhouette. Allowing the gown to shine by just adding nude pumps was the perfect way to style this look.

Miranda Kerr In Vivienne Westwood Anglomania - ‘The Great Gatsby’ New York Screening

Miranda Kerr attended a screening of ‘The Great Gatsby’ in New York City on Tuesday, after her appearance on the red carpet at the 2013 Met Gala.

The Australian supermodel was more covered up on this occasion, wearing a Vivienne Westwood Anglomania jumpsuit from the Fall 2013 collection.

Her off-the-shoulder jumpsuit featuring a pretty floral print is possibly the most loose-fitted piece I think she has ever worn.

Miranda’s red carpet M.O. is usually sexy and fitted; however, this bucks the trend.

She styled her look with nude Alexander Wang ‘Antonia’ sandals and a white Prada ‘Saffiano Promenade’ tote.

A simple side-parted ponytail and glossy pink lips completed the look.

Met Gala 2013

Here is a roundup of the rest of the ladies who took to the red carpet for the 2013 Met Gala on Monday evening. Models @ The Met post will follow.

Brooklyn Decker: The actress wore a custom Peter Pilotto look inspired by the Spring 2013 collection. While the look is custom I feel like I have seen this look several times before, so there is nothing fresh or new about it, unlike other custom looks as showcased by Karolina Kurkova and several others. Her Sergio Rossi ‘Hypnos’ sandals, however, are a work of art.

Alicia Keys: The singer took to the red carpet wearing a custom Jason Wu gown. Her black leather and bordeaux sequin embroidered halter gown is beautiful, but I wish Alicia had pushed the punk vibe with the styling a bit more; the red streaks in her hair aren’t enough for me, especially when we know Alicia isn’t afraid of taking a fashion risk. Robert Lee Morris jewels and a vintage clutch completed her look.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: The actress wore a beautiful custom Calvin Klein scarlet gown for the occasion which was punked up as far as she would go with a studded choker and a Tod’s black studded clutch with a gold frame. While I do love this look, I wish Maggie had gone bra shopping before this event.
