Rooney Mara In Proenza Schouler – ‘Her’ New York Film Festival Screening

Rooney Mara In Proenza Schouler - 'Her' New York Film Festival Screening

Rooney Mara attended the New York Film Festival closing-night presentation of her latest movie, ‘Her’, on Saturday evening.

Usually opting for black or white, the actress wore a Proenza Schouler Spring 2014 frock which incorporated both colours and a little bit more.

The edgy design with a fitted pleather bodice, keyhole detail, white waistband and cream pleated skirt with black-and-silver foil print was styled with conservative ‘Tribeca’ satin peep-toes courtesy of Brian Atwood.

Jennifer Meyer jewels, a simple bun, intense smoky cat-eye makeup and a soft nude lip colour completed her look.

Liv Tyler In Givenchy and Proenza Schouler – The Lunchbox Fund Fall Fete And Feedie App Launch

Liv Tyler In Givenchy and Proenza Schouler - The Lunchbox Fund Fall Fete And Feedie App Launch

Liv Tyler attended The Lunchbox Fund Fall Fête held at Buddakan in New York City yesterday, where they launched the charity’s philanthropy app, Feedie.

Wearing pieces from her favoured brands Givenchy and Proenza Schouler, she donned a black Proenza Schouler longs-sleeve top with a sexy fitted Givenchy skirt with a kick-flare hem in shades of rich autumn greens.

Styling was kept uber-simple, with a Givenchy wristlet and black Manolo Blahnik pumps completing the look.

My wish is that the neckline was more open, like a scooped neckline, or that she had added a necklace. Nothing too ostentatious, as it was a charity event, but something to prevent the top half feeling so bare.

Elizabeth Olsen In Proenza Schouler – ‘Therese’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Elizabeth Olsen In Proenza Schouler - 'Therese' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Elizabeth Olsen attended the ‘Therese’ premiere during the 2013 Toronto Film Festival held at Isabel Bader Theatre in Toronto, Canada yesterday evening.

The indie actress wore a Proenza Schouler Resort 2014 celadon embroidered dress.

Her beaded dress featuring solid wide straps, a cropped top overlay, a two-vent front construction at the skirt and beaded zig-zag design throughout was styled with Bionda Castana ‘Christa’ booties and Catbird jewels.

Even so much bling on her frock it doesn’t feel overly dressy. The laidback, effortless vibe about her look is perfectly in tune with the event.

Tousled tresses, cat-eyes and a pink lip shade completed her look.

Gia Coppola In Proenza Schouler – ‘Palo Alto’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Gia Coppola In Proenza Schouler - 'Palo Alto' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Gia Coppola was also at the Toronto International Film Festival, attending the ‘Palo Alto’ premiere yesterday at Scotiabank Theatre.

After wearing Proenza Schouler at the Venice Film Festival, the director gave us another look at the label, this time with a Fall 2013 embroidered laser-cut lace peplum dress in black, white and soft peach.

She pulls of the textured dress in an edgy, but still rather effortless way—an effect that’s further magnified by streamlined accessories, including a black Proenza Schouler PS11 clutch and black ankle-strap sandals, along with a casual, messy ponytail and minimal makeup.

Gia Coppola’s Weekend At Venice Film Festival

Gia Coppola's Weekend At Venice Film Festival

Gia Coppola took to the red carpet several times over the weekend attending events during the 2013 Venice Film Festival.

Art of Elysium’s ‘Child of God’ and ‘Palo Alto’ event: On Saturday the writer-director kick-started proceedings wearing an off-the-shoulder Christopher Kane Fall 2013 black velvet loop-tape dress featuring a nude lining we didn’t see on the runway. Black sandals and a black clutch with gold hardware completed her look.

‘Palo Alto’ photocall: The following day Gia opted for a head-to-toe Proenza Schouler look, selecting a black-and-white zigzag tweed dress with a small keyhole detail paired with black python pumps, both from the Resort 2014 collection. While the first look was sexy, this one has a youthful vibe. It’s interesting how she’s opted for two edgy designers, yet selected easy-to-wear pieces.

‘Palo Alto’ premiere: For the premiere on Sunday evening Gia couldn’t have looked more like her aunt Sofia, wearing a classic suit by Saint Laurent styled with a white blouse and black bow tie, keeping the makeup fresh and neutral for her borrowed-from-the-boys look.

Vanity Fair 10th Anniversary Celebrations: For her after-dark look, Gia wore a sexy Zac Posen strapless frock with a below-the-knee trumpet hemline and geometric folded detail at the bodice. Still opting for makeup in a neutral colour palette, she once again opted for black accessories, this time wearing black sandals and a satin clutch. You may remember that Naya Rivera wore this same dress back in April.

Of all these looks, the Saint Laurent is my favourite. I feel like this is more her style. The Zac Posen was my second favourite for pure sex appeal – something Zac Posen is a master at.
