Jessica Chastain In Prada – ‘Molly’s Game’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Having not seen Jessica Chastain since Cannes, she did not disappoint upon her dazzling return at the 2017 Toronto Film Festival where she attended the premiere of ‘Molly’s Game’ on Friday (September 8).

In a glorious example of a Prada keyhole gown worn so well on the red carpet, the actress was captivating in this design—the colours alone radiating with her flame locks.

I particularly love the mist of turquoise embellishment, as it added a lovely mystique to the gown.

No jewels were necessary here, as the gown was more than enough to captivate. She wrapped up the glamorous look with the playful, flirty appeal of a ponytail.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

No better way to round out the week than with a group of handsome guys on the red carpet. Here’s who was out and about yesterday (September 7).

Armie Hammer: At the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, Armie echoed his own baby blues with shades of navy in this Ralph Lauren ensemble, where the suede, double-breasted jacket was the star piece. I’m sure the look had a lot more dimension in person.

Shia LaBeouf: Also at the Toronto Film Festival, Shia attended the ‘Borg/McEnroe’ premiere, where he emboldened his dark Prada suit with a colourful paisley dress shirt. We’ve seen nearly the identical look on Dane DeHaan.

Timothée Chalamet: Joining Armie at the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ premiere, Timothée had another shade of blue in mind with this cerulean suit from the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Fall 2017 collection. The fit could have been better, especially through the trousers, so as to quell any sort of retro prom references.

‘IT’ LA Premiere

‘IT’ may be a thriller, but the red carpet for the LA premiere was a lively affair on Tuesday (September 5).

Bill Skarsgård: Who can resist a touch of pattern play? Especially when it’s incorporated into such a finely cut suit from Prada. I will take this any day over the OTT theatrics of Jared Leto.

Jaeden Lieberher: I love the school uniform vibe of this suit, but trust Dolce & Gabbana to present it in such a cool way.

Alexander Skarsgard: Joining his little brother on the red carpet for his big night, Alexander showcased the beauty of an impeccably tailored Ermenegildo Zegna Couture suit styled with Tod’s shoes.

Venice Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup

More stars took to the red carpet on Monday (September 4), as the Venice Film Festival marched on.

Levante: This embellished Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 gown was originally shown with a full lining, leaving many of you—and myself included—likely to wonder why Levante opted to go sheer instead at the ‘Una Famiglia’ premiere.

Micaela Ramazzotti: The magpie-attracting embellishment of Prada was not lost on this glittery look that Micaela wore at the ‘Una Famiglia’ premiere, but she did lose me at the unnecessary cuff and the gigantic platform shoes.

Rebecca Hall In Prada – ‘Suburbicon’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

There are twelve days of Venice Film Festival, and so far, Rebecca Hall has nailed four of them.

At the ‘Suburbicon’ premiere on Saturday (September 2), the British actress opted to wear Prada again, this time demonstrating their effortless approach to red carpet dressing.

Prada’s recent outings have been heavily embellished, but on this occasion just a simple bejewelled belt buckle provided some bling, along with her De Beers jewels.

Most of you have loved the dress, but have been disappointed with her hair.

On this occasion she opted for sleek straight tresses to complement her timeless, elegant gown.

Julianne Moore In Prada & Valentino – Venice Film Festival & The Franca Sozzani Award

Julianne Moore arrived in Venice alongside George Clooney, who directs her latest film, ‘Suburbicon’, before receiving the inaugural Franca Sozzani Award, founded as a tribute to the late Vogue Italia editor-in-chief.

Venice Film Festival Arrival: The actress adopted a whimsical mood while wearing a Prada orgzana sleeveless Resort 2018 dress with a fluffy trim feathers for textured drama. I love how the quirky shades also add a fun twist. Julianne always seems at home during European festivals.

The Franca Sozzani Award: It may have been a wet and windy night, but Julianne created her own storm on the red carpet wearing a volcanic lava-red Valentino Fall 2017 gown styled with a heart-shaped clutch and Chopard jewels. I love the contrasting pretty floral pink underlay which engages a romantic mood. She certainly brought her A-game to Venice.
