Prabal Gurung celebrity client list continues to grow.

He already has Demi Moore, Rachel Weisz, Carey Mulligan loving his work, and now he can add Leighton Meester to that list.

Bows were very much the main features of talented designers collection, and that the first thing you see on Leighton’s blue brush rose painted Spring 2010 dress.

I love the black patent belt and the rosette detail on her black velvet Roger Vivier sandals which complement each other so well.

Her make-up was dewy and her hair was left loose and wavy.

BDOTW contender?

It may have been the GQ Gentlemen’s Ball, but I only had eyes for the ladies.

Rachel Zoe & Brad are huge fans of Prabal Gurung – as so they should be – so it’s never a surprise to see them dress their clients in Gurung’s stunning creations.

Demi Moore has had a few shaky moments on the red carpet, most notably her Lanvin look a few weeks ago, but she’s back to her stunning best wearing a black and white floral print Prabal Gurung Spring 2010 halter neck dress.

The double black and white bows could be a bit overwhelming on some, but it’s so adorable on Demi.

Demi wore black peep-toes and carried a crystallized black clutch, but her ultimate accessory was her gorgeous husband Ashton Kutcher.

Without question she is up for BDOTW.

There was a time when I used to cringe every time I saw Emmy Rossum on the red carpet, now she’s really come into her own.

You hardly ever see her in bandage dresses nor does she don bold shoulders. She does her own thing and never follows the crowd.

This individuality means she totally captivating to watch on the red carpet.

On this occasion she blows me away wearing a black fitted Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2009 turtle neck dress with mesh cut-out details which is really quite sexy.

I never thought turtle necks could be sexy until now.

She’s just made picking 10 looks for BDOTW that much harder.

Chanel Iman’s peachy pink strapless Ralph Lauren Fall 2009 dress with a embroidered bodice and a lace skirt has a vintage feel to it which I really love.

On Chanel’s last model face-off she lost against Isabeli Fontana in Versace, but she wins here against Anna Selezneva.

Hilary Swank continues to give red carpet master classes, this time wearing a Monique Lhuillier Fall 2009 black gown.

The cut-out details some how make the actress look even more slender and taller, and the embellish details prevent this from being a boring black gown.

Oscar buzz will guarantee you one thing – an endless supply of stunning dresses to wear on the red carpet – and that’s exactly what Carey Mulligan has been wearing lately.

The style-icon-in-the-making wore a Prabal Gurung Spring 2010 black beaded chiffon strapless dress with shirttail hem and silk faille bowtie to cinched in her waist.

She teamed her dress with tortoise-shell heels and a chunky gold bracelet.

I’m loving the quiff.

Zooey Deschanel is probably the only person who I feel dresses up with tights, rather than covers up with tights.

We often see her in various colours of tights, but on this occasion she opted for black to match the black trims on her cute Luella Spring 2010 dress.

Her look was paired with Martin Lewis for Luella bow accented heels and a black Chanel bag.

Like the runway model Zooey wears a black bow in her hair, but she opted to wears hers at the back.

There were a lot of black dresses at this event, but Kate Beckinsale’s Michael Kors Resort 2010 dress was made interesting with the asymmetrical neckline and the draped detail on the skirt.

Long gold earrings and a chunky cuff complete the sophisticated look.

Despite Diane Kruger being one of the few not to wear black at this event, I wasn’t crazy about her look.

She kept her look light and feminine wearing a Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2010 white silk dress with a rise and fall hem, but unfortunately the nude heels really let her down.

I loved how this gown billowed on the runway, and although that drama is lost on the red carpet Diane still tried to make it work.

I also preferred how the dress sits above the knee on the model, the length feels a bit awkward on Diane.

Julianne Moore is not afraid of colour, as she wore a beautiful coral dress with voluminous sleeves.

I adore the colour on her.  She can be so breath-taking at times without much effort.

The actress paired her dress with Chanel ankle strap heels, and a black Bottega Veneta Impero satin clutch.

Michelle Monaghan looked stunning in a black strapless dress with a floral embroidered detail on the bodice.

She glows as brightly as her Martin Katz jewels.

Dare I say this, but I’m bored.

Charlize Theron normally blows me away each time she hits the red carpet, but I can only get excited about her red Louboutin’s with a gold toe cap and Bottega Veneta clutch.

Her The Row ensemble is very meh!!!

AnnaLynne McCord provided the sultry glamour I was expecting from Charlize, by posing seductively in a one-shouldered black gown.

Taraji P. Henson is wearing a really nice Rachel Roy dress, but it somehow feels out of place at this event.

I’m also not loving the hair extensions. She worked the shorter style really well.

What’s most tragic is the make-up. Why does she have a layer of white powder under her eyes?

America Ferrera & Esquire Host A Save The Children Benefit

The cast of “Ugly Betty” attended two events in New York City last night, but it was only America Ferrera – host of this benefit – who had two looks.

America walked the red carpet wearing a black Moshino safety pin-embellished crepe dress paired with gold peep-toes.

I love the stunning slim-fitting silhouette plus the safety pins and Swarovski crystals embellishments, but I’m not a fan of mixing metals.

My personal preference is that you either wear gold or silver, but it’s a minor detail when she looks this amazing.

Evening With “Ugly Betty”

Becki Newton looked amazing wearing a ruffled Prabal Gurung Fall 2009 sleeveless top paired with a striped tulip skirt from the same collection.

She took a night off wearing her favourite Jimmy Choo Karina studded shoe-boots and opted for a sexy black sandal.

Perfectly petite and polished as always.

Becki picked this look out a few weeks ago during New York Fashion Week when she visited the designer at his New York studio.

I don’t know about you, but I actually prefer this look on America Ferrera.

I adore her cropped pants and the 3/4 length sleeved jacket which nips her in at the waist to give her a streamlined silhouette.

It’s such a chic interpretation of a pants suit, that I wish to emulate this look as soon as I can.

Gold peep-toes and a white v-neck tee complete the look.

Vanessa Williams adds an interesting element to her asymmetrical LBD with two tone ankle strapped heels.

Prabal Gurung already has a strong celebrity fan base which includes Demi Moore (she’s worn his pieces twice) Rachel Weisz and of course Zoe Saldana who introduced his collection to the world wearing a jaw-dropping red dress.

You would think with such a fan base Gurung was in his 5th for 6th season, but this is actually only his second collection.

Rachel Zoe was in attendance so the anticipation was HUGE.

If there was a hype before hand Gurung not only lived up to it, he surpassed it.

I tried to contain my excitement viewing this A-Mazing Spring 2010 collection, it really had that wow factor with every piece. As I said on twitter, it’s easily my favourite collection so far.

As we walked around the trendy loft the collection started off with neutral colours. It moved onto cobalt blues, then a explosion of red which almost had me weak at the knees.

The collection had mix of both masculine and feminine pieces, which both playing off each other.

I noticed a lot of bows, and black features on nearly every piece.

My favourite piece was the cobalt blue dress, which swirl around the models body. Charlize, it has your name all over it.

Demi Moore is currently in Paris with her kids Tallulah and Scout where they’ve enjoyed the sights of Paris including a private tour of the Louvre.

Demi looks to have other commitments in Paris as she looked stunning wearing a Prabal Gurung Fall 2009 asymmetrical dress with a feathered ombre skirt to launch her fragrance “Wanted”.

The star uploaded this picture onto her Twitpic to which many of her followers gushed at how beautiful she looked and I totally agree.

Demi has worn a piece from the young designers first Fall 2009 collection before, when she attended Cartier’s 100th Anniversary party last month.

On her twitter page she said her dress was by a “Wonderful young designer to look out for Prabal Gurung!”

If that is not a ringing endorsement I don’t know what is.
