2015 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

An additional chic set of lovelies were among the constellation of style stars at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards, hosted at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Monday (June 1) in New York City.

Katie Holmes: I really wanted to love the actress’s one-of-a-kind Ralph Lauren Collection deep-green silk charmeuse evening dress accented with Ralph Lauren vintage jewels. Shame about the wrinkles in the dress and the long, barely-styled hair that hid the beautiful earrings.

Abigail Spencer: It was delightful to see such a bright, patterned Novis dress, where the bold colour continued with royal purple Malone Souliers Dawn Mules heels and a magenta lip. The end result was captivatingly fresh and charming, even if it appeared slightly less formal than some of the other entrances.

Gigi Hadid: This Michael Kors Resort 2016 glittery jumpsuit had a distinct Studio 54 vibe, but the model wore it so well, creating a chicly modern appeal with Michael Kors ‘Jacqueline’ sandals, a metallic Michael Kors clutch, and Atelier Swarovski jewels.

Diane Kruger In Prabal Gurung – 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Diane Kruger In Prabal Gurung - 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Diane Kruger attended the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Monday (June 1) in New York City.

The German actress was one of the best dressed on the night looking oh-so modern and uber chic wearing custom Prabal Gurung gown decked out with Swarovski crystals which was oozing with high-fashion allure.

I know many hated her recent Chanel look, but I think Diane is back to her risk-taking, stand-out best after a brief slump, and this look only serves to prove that point as she’s never looked better.

Monique Péan jewels and a Edie Parker clutch completed this BDOTW worthy look.

2015 Critics’ Choice Television Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 Critics' Choice Television Awards Red Carpet Roundup

A crush of additional lovelies joined Charlize Theron and Cat Deeley at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, hosted at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (May 31) in Beverly Hills, California.

Angie Harmon: The actress was vibrant in a beautifully printed Christian Siriano Fall 2015 frock with a primly feminine tea-length skirt and a much sultrier, off-the-shoulder neckline that might have needed a nudge up. As is, it looks a bit close to a wardrobe malfunction.

Yvonne Strahovski
: The intense sky-blue hue of this Michael Kors Spring 2015 gown was enough to strike a beautiful chord in ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’ actress’s minimalistic silhouette. I love the additional punch of colour provided by the coral-red lip.

Anna Faris: Also opting for a sleekly simple aesthetic, Ana struck the right balance between subtle and striking with her ballet-pink ZAC Zac Posen Fall 2015 high-low dress. Keeping her accessories in line with the frock, she wore tonal Kurt Geiger London ‘Bond’ pumps and an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch.

Kerry Washington In Prabal Gurung – The Paley Center For Media Presents An Evening With The Cast Of ‘Scandal’

Kerry Washington In Prabal Gurung - The Paley Center For Media Presents An Evening With The Cast Of 'Scandal'

On Thursday (May 14) The Paley Center for Media hosted an evening with the cast of ‘Scandal’ in New York City, and of course, Kerry Washington, was front and center for the event.

Enjoying an easy night in the spotlight, Kerry wore a springlike Pre-Fall 2015 Prabal Gurung frock boasting an abstract floral print. She paired the look with black Jerome C. Rousseau Bryant peep-toe pumps, a Swarovski ‘Nirvana’ gold crystal clutch and small stud earrings.

I love both the simple ease of this dress and the vibrant colors, and while part of me wishes she had gone for a yellow pump, her more subtle approach to accessories may have been a wise choice, as this is a huge win for the actresses, who unfortunately has had her fair share of red carpet misses lately.

A polished Heidi braid, enviably radiant skin and lovely eye makeup are making me swoon and think perhaps the can-do-no-wrong Kerry is back.

2015 Met Gala Roundup

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

A flurry of even more bold names descended on red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), where their colourful variety of looks only contributed to this year’s fashion extravaganza.

Anna Wintour
: As the gala co-host, the ‘Vogue’ editor-in-chief dressed thematically (for her, anyway) in a Chanel Spring 2015 Couture gown featuring dimensional, all-over poppy embroidery, which had been lengthened from the runway’s original shorter version. She should have maintained her signature cap sleeve, as the flower petal statement shoulders translated as a bit cumbersome, despite their inherent artistry.

Bee Shaffer: Like her mother, Bee also found inspiration in flowers, opting for a mahogany blossom gown by Alexander McQueen. I much preferred this look to Anna’s, especially with the enchantment of the beautifully embroidered Chinese cranes that alighted down the back of the dress.

Reese Witherspoon In Prabal Gurung & Sofia Vergara In Georges Chakra Couture -‘Hot Pursuit’ LA Premiere

Reese Witherspoon In Prabal Gurung & Sofia Vergara -‘Hot Pursuit’ LA Premiere
Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara were two hot topics at the ‘Hot Pursuit’ Los Angeles premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Thursday (April 30) in Hollywood, California.

Reese Witherspoon
: While she may have returned to a less colourful, black-and-white colour palette in this Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2015 embellished dress, the look suffered no lack of radiance. Lovely as they were, the dress and Christian Louboutin ‘Tiny’ sandals took a backseat to her stunning beauty look with soft, voluminous waves and a bold berry lip.

Sofia Vergara: While it is beautifully figure-hugging, I have a feeling this Georges Chakra Fall 2013 Couture lacy embroidered dress may be called dated among some. Of more concern were her gold platform shoes that didn’t help matters. That striking Harry Kotlar pink diamond ring will never go out of style, though.
