Margot Robbie In Oscar de la Renta - 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' Luncheon

Margot Robbie attended ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ luncheon held at the Four Seasons Restaurant on Wednesday (December 18) in New York City.

The actress wore a chic Oscar de la Renta black-and-white gingham-check pencil dress with a Paule Ka nude-and-black leopard-print buckle-detail coat from the Fall 2013 collection.

Just a pair of nude Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps accessorized her luncheon look, with a glossy pink lip and natural wavy tresses providing the finishing touches.

Emmy Rossum In Oscar de la Renta – ‘August: Osage County’ LA Screening

Emmy Rossum In Oscar de la Renta - 'August Osage County' LA Screening

Emmy Rossum attended the ‘August: Osage County’ benefit screening held at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Thursday evening.

Wrapping her brunette locks into a chic topknot, the ‘Shameless’ actress wore a pretty dress from one of her favourite designers, Oscar de la Renta, selecting a navy silk-faille dress with ivory organza, caviar beads, and threadwork embroidery, in the designer’s favoured fit-and-flare silhouette from the Resort 2014 collection.

With a pop of colour courtesy of her glossy red lip shade, she kept the rest of her look neutral, opting for a diamante-encrusted cream clutch, silver jewels and white Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps.

It does pain me to admit that the white pumps, despite my disdain for them, do complement the look. This showing proves that the trend, as much as we might have hoped otherwise, isn’t going to be dying down any time soon.

Allison Williams In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 Winter Ball For Autism

Allison Williams In Oscar de la Renta - 2013 Winter Ball For Autism

Allison Williams attended the 2013 Winter Ball For Autism at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The ‘Girls’ actress wore a beautiful Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 gown fit for such a grand occasion, featuring a lace bodice and frothy tiered tulle skirt with a train which I feel may be too frou frou for some people’s taste.

‘Go big or go home’ is always my motto, so I couldn’t be more enamoured by this glamorous look.

The red glossy lip is the icing on this very frothy cake.

An Oscar de la Renta black ‘Goa’ clutch and simple bun wrapped up this look.

2013 Telva Fashion Awards

2013 Telva Fashion Awards

The 2013 Telva Fashion Awards took place at the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid, Spain yesterday evening, with some of our favourite Spanish beauties taking to the red carpet to celebrate the event’s 50th anniversary.

Nieves Alvarez: The model, who was the host of the event, set the glamour bar very high wearing an Emilio Pucci one-of-a-kind bedazzled beaded long-sleeved open-back gown styled with an oversized Swarovski clutch and Suarez jewels.

Juana Acosta: The actress looked breathtaking wearing an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 black floral bubble peplum top and black silk-faille ballskirt, styled with a contrasting red Louboutin clutch and gold jewels. This was my favourite of the night.

Norma Ruiz: The actress opted for an ethereal look, wearing a Donna Karan Atelier one-shoulder gown with a lattice bodice and free-flowing ruffled cascading skirt, which she styled with Jimmy Choo embellished sandals, a matching Swarovski clutch and Yanes jewels. I love the smoky-eye/nude-matte-lip combo here.

Katy Perry In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 American Music Awards

2013AMA_katyperry

Katy Perry swept onto the red carpet at the 2013 American Music Awards, hosted on Sunday night at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

For her arrival ensemble, the ‘Unconditionally’ songstress, who is also performing at the show, selected a dotted Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 sheer tulle gown, speckled with an array of colourful, embroidered flowers.

Toning down the runway styling by skipping the statement earrings and veil, she instead injected her own dose of attitude. Accessorizing with a whimsical Olympia Le-Tan ‘Webster’s New World Dictionary’ box clutch and an oversized flower ring, she also fully committed to the polka dots with a matching manicure.

Her style continues to evolve, and here she was a vision of sweet elegance with a proper touch of her beloved signature quirk.

Soft waves and a bold, matte-red lip rounded out the look that danced the line between grown-up glam and girly fun.

Naomie Harris In Oscar de la Renta – ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ AFI Fest Premiere

Naomie Harris In Oscar de la Renta - 'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' AFI Fest Premiere

Naomie Harris attended the ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ premiere during AFI FEST 2013 held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California yesterday evening, following the 2013 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards.

I’m not sure when the turning point was, but Naomie is one of my current red carpet favourites.

We were a bit bummed that her looks were a bit lukewarm during her ‘Skyfall’ promo tour, but now she’s firing on all cylinders.

She worked her magic once again, wearing an Oscar de la Renta easy-breezy white cotton leaf-crochet knit dress with Caribbean-blue chandelier earrings and aqua suede ‘Issa’ d’orsay pumps from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection.

This light-blue worked for her the night before and it’s even better the second time round.

Are you developing a girl crush, or is it already fully formed?

Michelle Trachtenberg In Oscar de la Renta – ‘Killing Kennedy’ World Premiere

Michelle Trachtenberg In Oscar de la Renta - 'Killing Kennedy' World Premiere

Michelle Trachtenberg attended the National Geographic Channel’s ‘Killing Kennedy’ world premiere held at The Newseum in Washington, D.C. yesterday evening.

Opting for an event-appropriate, conservative look she donned a Oscar de la Renta charcoal-grey dress with shimmering embroidered details.

Her v-neck frock with a nipped-in waist was styled with black satin Stuart Weitzman pumps and a navy satin clutch.

I’m not a fan of the makeup as the foundation looks too gloopy; perhaps just some blot powder would’ve sorted that out.

Also the clutch feels a tad out of place. Black would’ve been a better option. Do you agree?
