Greta Gerwig In Oscar de la Renta – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Greta Gerwig’s start to 2018 on the red carpet has been a fruitful one, and her stellar form continued to the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in LA.

Monochromatic hues with minimal detailing have been Greta’s go to when it comes to modern-day eveningwear, and that contemporary vision was upheld within this Oscar de la Renta piece.

I love how the dress falls uninterruptedly from curved neckline and how the Tiffany & Co. necklace adds a touch of glamour.

Graceful, elegant and unfussy.

Alexis Bledel In Oscar de la Renta – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Alexis Bledel stunned on the 2018 Golden Globe Awards carpet wearing a one-shoulder jumpsuit from the Oscar de La Renta Resort 2018 collection.

It was all about the details with this piece featuring applique leaf-like design and a satin sash that draped down the side of the jumpsuit. With Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pumps, the actress gave the otherwise fun piece a tailored workwear vibe.

The actress finished the look with simple dangly earrings and her rich brunette hair in a side-parted straight style, adding a sophisticated tone to the look.

While her natural makeup is her signature style, a bold lip would’ve worked well with this monochromatic jumpsuit.

Greta Gerwig In Oscar de la Renta – 2017 New York Film Critics Awards

The last time Greta Gerwig went for a minimalist look, you weren’t too impressed, so I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on her Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2018 look worn to the 2017 New York Film Critics’ Awards on Wednesday (January 3) in New York City.

I love how the elegant purity starts with the dress and continues throughout the look.

Some might have been wishing that Greta had opted to temper the simplicity here with vibrantly hued, statement heels or a bold lip, but I find this look beautiful and refreshing.

Gal Gadot In Oscar de la Renta – Variety’s Creative Impact Awards And 10 Directors To Watch

Gal Gadot continued to banish our winter blues with another bold hued look for Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch during the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Wednesday (January 3) in California.

I love how Oscar de la Renta reinvents the classic suit through its modern cuts and a preppy sensibilities to create this striking Spring 2018 look.

While the suit adopts a smart silhouette, the contrasting pink hues and bustier brings about a sexy and chicness.

Jessica Chastain In Oscar de la Renta – ‘Molly’s Game’ New York Premiere

After a show-stopping turn at the ‘Molly’s Game, Amsterdam premiere, Jessica Chastain hit the red carpet again at the ‘Molly’s Game’ New York premiere on Wednesday (December 13).

The actress has had a succession of divine looks and I think that this one will go down favorably, too.

This time, she opted for dramatic detailing in an Oscar de la Renta Sprig 2018 gown. The curving black lines flecked with the designer’s logo create great movement while adding a somber edge to the white tulle base.

I love how her longer version presents a more sophisticated finish compared to the youthful shorter silhouette on the runway.

The additional tulle layers also allow for a great appreciation of the embroidery.
