Sylvia Hoeks In Loewe – ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Barcelona Photocall

Sylvia Hoeks attended the ‘Blade Runner 2049’ photocall in Barcelona on Monday (June 19).

I was immediately fascinated by her Loewe Spring 2017 look that combined the seductiveness of corsetry styling with the sway of a more homespun peasant skirt.

The end result delivered an intriguing edge of feminine allure, especially when styled with her high sandals, statement earrings, and waterfall blonde waves.

Experimental elegance at its finest. Would you agree?

45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton

The American Film Institute’s 45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton took place on Thursday (June 8). Various stars (including Rachel McAdams) took to the red carpet in Hollywood, California to celebrate the veteran actress.

Emma Stone: The ‘La La Land’ actress kept us guessing with this quirky dress from Loewe’s Fall 2017 collction. Whilst my head tells me that colour-blocking, check print, and polka dots do not belong in one look, my heart is won over. The placement of the colours works particularly well, with the check print cinching in Emma’s waist. I love the pleated skirt and Stella Luna ‘Carioca’ sandal combo too. The red-brown colour palette ties everything together into one cohesive look.

Reese Witherspoon: The exaggerated cuffs and collar on this Miu Miu dress bring some definition to what is otherwise quite an ordinary design. Reese keeps it fun and flirty with the length of this dress and her relaxed hairstyle. Overall the look is classic and chic. Irene Neuwirth jewels completed her look.

Diane Keaton: Honouree and woman of the hour, Diane Keaton, made sure all eyes were on her with a bizarre ensemble. A wide-brimmed dark hat and oversized dress coat combo dominated this look. A chunky buckled belt seemed to struggle to contain the swathes of fabric whilst Doc Marten style boots further confused the look. But hey, it was her night, and she owned her eclectic style. Top marks for originality?

Kirsten Dunst In Loewe – ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Kirsten Dunst offered up a third summery look for ‘The Beguiled’ photocall during Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 24) alongside her co-stars Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning.

Her Loewe Spring 2017 dress is simple yet beautiful thanks to the injection of modern-boho sensibility through its broderie-anglaise cotton.

Much like Nicole, I wasn’t a fan of Kirsten’s footwear here, but they don’t detract from her gorgeous look overall.

Chopard, Vanity Fair and HBO Cannes Parties

A Vanity Fair and HBO dinner party was held on Saturday (May 20) as part of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, with a group of glamorous gals in attendance.

Julianne Moore: While the actress did stick to a darker colour palette, she brought a dose of whimsical fun in this Chanel Resort 2017 embellished gown with multi-hued, feathered pouf sleeves. Exchanging the pink sash for a black one along with a sleek bun and Chopard jewels ensured plenty of her signature modern elegance was brought to the table.

‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’ LA Premiere

A group of lovelies were out at the LA premiere of ‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’ was held on Monday (May 8) in Hollywood.

Annabelle Wallis: There was a lot going on with this long-sleeve Loewe Fall 2017 dress in its bold vertical pattern punched through with sheer lace accents. I’m not a fan of the design, as the shape and the stripes reminded me of an old-fashioned man’s nightshirt. Regardless, its busyness and its high neckline required a sleek bun.

Poppy Delevingne: Notes of old Hollywood glamour melded into boudoir elegance in Poppy’s sultry black slip dress, embellished with a diamond necklace and platinum waves. So simple yet so jaw-dropping.

Jacqui Ainsley: I love the laid-back, retro charm of this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2017 printed, puff-sleeve dress that was made for spring, especially with that sky-blue belt.
