‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ brought more lovelies to the red carpet on Monday (May 22).

Jourdan Dunn: Jourdan was not ready to give up her sheer ambition yet, after her see-through jumpsuit moment. This Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture gown was an improvement, as it did resonate with a sense of romantic enchantment in its gilded embroidery. The non-butt-cheek-baring bodysuit also worked in its favour.

Izabel Goulart: I love the subtle lustrous tone of this white Ralph & Russo Couture embellished gown along with its streamlined silhouette that glided over Izabel’s statuesque figure.

Marion Cotillard In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Marion Cotillard was also on the red carpet for the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts (Les Fantomes d’Ismael)’ at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 17).

With a relaxed sense of seductive allure, she was dressed in a Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown styled with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Chopard jewels.

The juxtaposition between the menswear-inspired pinstripes and the sultry, sculpted bodice with corset detailing was what made this ensemble so intriguing, with her loose waves and subtle makeup adding a romantic outlook.

Katy Perry In Jean Paul Gaultier & Emma Roberts In Armani Privé – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

On a night of what feels like a thousand dresses, you can forgive us for missing out one or two.

Here are the looks we shamefully missed from Katy Perry and Emma Roberts.

Katy Perry: The one thing you can’t predict is what style direction Katy is going to take, which makes her so fascinating to watch. On this occasion she went down the refreshingly grownup route donning a dynamic Jean Paul Gautier bronze gown that despite its many interesting elements didn’t feel overworked. Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels plus a Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’clutch and sandals in a deeper shade of bronze completed one of her best looks to date. Beyond stunning.

Emma Roberts: Donning her second Armani Privé gown of the night, Miss Roberts went into Mr. Armani’s archives selecting a gorgeous nude and pale green gown which hails from the designers second Armani Privé collection. At first I thought this was a printed dress but on closer inspection the dress is actually encrusted with crystals. I can only imagine how breath-taking it was in person.

Gabrielle Union In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

This is going to some as a shock to some of you, but Gabrielle Union was one of my favourites at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (February 26).

First off, her skin is outstanding – standing O for that alone.

Secondly, while there’s not a whole lot of this dual-coloured Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2017 piece, she’s rock the hell out of it -hard.

And lastly, if you have the body and confidence to carry off something like this in such a graceful manner, then why not?

Gwen Stefani In Yousef Al-Jasmi & Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2015 American Music Awards

Gwen Stefani In Yousef Al-Jasmi & Jean Paul Gaultier Couture - 2015 American Music Awards

Gwen Stefani was serving up gothic glamour at the 2015 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 22) in Los Angeles, California.

Red Carpet: When I tell you that Gwen shares the same stylists as Ciara and Jennifer Lopez, you perhaps won’t be surprised to see Gwen following the sheer gown trend when she donned this Yousef Al-Jasmi Spring 2016 piece. Pushing my fatigue to one side, I do love the flowy arms and a mermaid silhouette of this gown. Frankly, she’s serving it up better than the runway model. The only thing missing is a slick back do….

Performance:…but it looks like Gwen was saving that for her performance look. I love the intricate web-like design of her Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2015 Couture gown. It’s refreshing to see a singer perform with clothes on and not just hot pants and a bralet.
