Ruth Negga In Gucci – Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala

Ruth Negga took a walk on the wild side at the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala on Friday (April 21) in New York City.

With a nod to the retro sensibility we’ve seen her favour before, this metallic leopard-print look married charm with cheekiness.

The Peter Pan collar and bow-embellished peplum provided the sweet, vintage aura while the embroidered roaring cat on the back added some unexpected sass.

Was the look a bit over-styled with the black stirrup tights and the stunning Tiffany necklace? Perhaps. But, the OTT flair translated as charismatic rather than chaotic.

On The ‘Younger’ Set With Hilary Duff In Gucci

Before you start thinking that this Gucci Spring 2017 dress is a tad OTT for daytime, Hilary Duff wore the pink lurex outfit while on set for ‘Younger’ in New York City yesterday (April 17).

It’s a look Anna Dello Russo would happily rock during the day, but for the rest of us (who like it), this sugar-rich glittering metallic dress with it prim pussybow and ruffles would only be reserved for after-dark.

But when it comes to the Gucci platforms, I will definitely pass.

Sophia Amoruso In Gucci – ‘Girlboss’ LA Premiere

As executive producer, Sophia Amoruso attended the premiere of Netflix’s’ ‘Girlboss’ on Monday (April 17) in Hollywood, California.

I wasn’t surprised to see her don this overtly eighties-inspired Gucci Spring 2017 dress, considering her roots are deeply sent in vintage clothing.

I love the striking colour which is bolstered by the asymmetric silhouette and punctuated with pretty blossoms alongside an origami flower embellishment.

Teamed with Gucci pretty pink heels this is easily one of my favourite looks of the current season.

The new 13-episode comedy series was inspired by Sophia Amoruso’s popular autobiography of the same title and is set to premiere on Netflix’ in the US on April 21.

You may remember that Emma Stone wore this same dress back in January.

Jennifer Hudson In Gucci – Good Morning America

Following her win with Mo Adeniran on ‘The Voice UK’, Jennifer Hudson was back stateside making an appearance on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ in Times Square on Monday (April 17) in New York City.

I love how her Gucci SS17 dress depicts a stunning array of colourful flowers and is full of vibrant energy and feminine flare – thanks to the ruffles – with the simple black sandals complimenting rather than competing with the busy dress.

A flash of electric-blue eye makeup didn’t go unnoticed or under-appreciated.

Just a shame about the creases.

Rihanna In Gucci – Coachella 2017

All that glitters wasn’t gold, it was Rihanna at Coachella 2017 on Saturday (April 15) in California.

The desert music fest is known for its statement looks, and RiRi was at the top of the list this past weekend with her Gucci Fall 2017 getup.

Skipping the Coachella uniform of boho fringe, feathers, and boots, she served up her distinct fusion of rebellious glamour in the sparkling bodysuit topped by the logo tank and denim cutoffs as presented on the runway.

Flatform, lug-sole shoes added punk-ish flair, with embellished sunglasses oozing with another layer of pure attitude.

This is the Coachella version of her Swarovski-encrusted 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards fishnet gown, clearly.

‘The Sense Of An Ending’ Gala Screening

It was an all British affair for the gala screening of ‘The Sense of an Ending’ at Picturehouse Central on Thursday (April 6) in London.

Stacy Martin: I love the carefree spirit of Stacy’s modish Prada Spring 2017 look which features the new update on the infamous pout print. The look was of course styled with chunky Prada sandals.

Billy Howle: Sleek and contemporary, this Gucci Resort 2017 black-azure Monaco suit is cut in a slim fit to embody the brand’s streamlined aesthetic. Thankfully Billy’s trousers reached his ankles, unlike the model in the look book.

Freya Mavor: I have stated several times that I am very much fatigue by sheer gowns, but on the odd occasion – like on Sienna Miller – I can find myself warming to the odd one or two. On this occasion I found myself mildly horrified by Freya’s decision to wear white boy shorts with her Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2017 black sheer dress. Surely black would’ve been a better option. Further proof that this trend needs to die. ASAP.
