Emmy Rossum In Etro – “Vegas Magazine” February Issue Party

Why didn’t we see enough of the Etro Fall 2010 collection on the red carpet?

I really expected to see more of the collection worn by celebrities, but it never happened.

Emmy Rossum gave us our first stateside look of this collection when she celebrated her “Vegas Magazine” cover at The Bank in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, NV.

Her gorgeous satin Bordeaux and grape colour block dress with a thigh-high slit was paired with Diego Dolcini sandals.

A crystal embellished Temperley London clutch and Ippolita earrings completed her look.

With her rich red lip colour Emmy could’ve really gone over-the-top forcing this sexy look on us. Instead she works the red carpet in a very elegant and sophisticated way.

Can you imagine Megan Fox or Blake Lively in this dress?

I love them both but their pouting and over posing in this look would’ve been off the scale.

Stars In Etro @ The GQ Awards Madrid

In Madrid last night stars arrived on the red carpet for the GQ Awards.

I was really excited to see a few looks from the Etro Fall 2010 collection which I have been dying to see on the red carpet.

Teresa Baca wore an Etro Fall 2010 one-sleeved dress with a floral print on the sleeve.

I love the dress but I’m not so crazy about her hair style.

I’m still hoping to see it on my favourite gals Tilda Swinton or Cate Blanchett because Teresa isn’t quite selling it to me.

Designers Constanza Etro and Kean Etro arrived together.

Constanza opted for this texture black dress from her Fall 2010 collection.

She shortened the plunged and teamed her look with a patent clutch.

Runway To Sidewalk – Jennifer Lopez In Etro

This is more like it for me.

Jennifer Lopez was spotted arriving back at the Hotel Crillon in Paris this afternoon wearing an Etro Spring 2010 maxi dress.

Her pale grey silk wrap dress with gold beaded embroidery and a a floral printed trim.

It’s perfect for the summer sunshine.

Jennifer has that exotic flair to pull it off this boho piece, plus the colours work wonderfully with her skin-tone.

The singer also carried a black leather Loewe “Amazona” handbag, which she also carried when shopping earlier today.

‘Glee’ Spring Premiere Soiree – Lea Michele In Etro

Last night Lea Michele was the stand out star on the red carpet at Fox’s ‘Glee’ spring premiere soiree held at Bar Marmont in LA.

Sporting bangs, the actress wore an Etro marble print maxi dress from the Spring 2010 collection.

The floral print long sleeved wrap dress was accented with a contrasting belt.

I think dresses like this don’t always work on the red carpet.

But my problem is not the dress, it’s her eye make-up which feels too heavy for this look, plus her bangs have been cut really unevenly.

LaRare heels and Tiffany jewels complete her look.

I was starting to lose hope that I would ever see this amazing Marchesa Fall 2009 dress on the red carpet.

Olivia Wilde has fulfilled my wish by looking drop-dead gorgeous wearing the strapless nude suede dress.

I love those embroidered floral details, the complementary taupe clutch and her nude Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps.

I don’t know much about Amber Heard, but I’m really impressed with her on the red carpet and shocked that she always manages to wear such big name designers.

Last night she looked sensational wearing this red Christian Dior Spring 2010 belted gown with a chiffon bodice and a satin skirt.

Since Charlize Theron has been M.I.A. on the red carpet in a while, I guess John Galliano might have been looking for an interim muse.

It’s not often we see 3 great Dior Spring 2010 looks in the space of 2 days.

Miss Dior herself – Marion Cotillard wore Dior to the Critic’s Choice Awards on Friday, then Chloe Sevigny wore Dior to the NY Times Style Magazine’s Pre-Golden Globe Awards Party on Saturday.

It’s always a pleasure to see Camilla Belle on the red carpet.

The actress wore a grey Valentino Spring 2010 dress with a satin bow detail on the hip.

I love the way the cape and skirt fan out. It would’ve been amazing to watch this dress in motion.

I’m not sure about those stunning heels with the dress, but the heels are divine on their own.

On Friday I was worried that after Apphia Michael wore Viktor & Rolf to the Wallpaper Design Awards, that we would only get to see these pieces from this Spring 2010 collection inside magazines.

Anna Paquin delights us by wearing a strapless pink tulle dress with exaggerated hips.

She also blows my theory that only one of each look was ever made for this collection, as hers is pink to the runway’s grey and blue.

An Alexander McQueen knuckle duster clutch, Boucheron diamond studs, a Tom Binns necklace and black gladiator heels complete her look. Read more…
