Rita Ora In Etro – GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Rita Ora In Etro - GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Rita Ora has a penchant for dramatic gowns when attending big events, so I’m glad to see that continue at the GQ Men of the Year Awards held at The Royal Opera House in London this evening.

The British singer brought her A-game wearing an Etro Fall 2013 black-and-yellow micro-beaded gown with cut-out details at the waist and back, which she styled with black-and-gold complementary spiral earrings.

Makeup-wise, she opted for futuristic cat-eyes, plus you will be delighted (shocked) to see that Rita left the ‘Roc Nation red’ lippie at home, opting for a shimmering nude colour for a refreshing change.

Her newly chopped bob was styled into a sultry quiff, adding yet another dramatic twist to her look.

I have to say, I love it. She’s really keeping things interesting on the red carpet.

Cat Deeley In Etro – 2013 Young Hollywood Awards

Cat Deeley In Etro - Young Hollywood Awards 2013

Cat Deeley rounded out the attendees at the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards held at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, California yesterday evening.

The ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ host wore a daring drop-waist Etro Spring 2012 dress featuring a halter top with a bow accent going across the bust and cut-out details, with a pleated colourful ethnic-print skirt.

I’m always asking for Cat to do something a bit different and it looks like she did just that on this occasion, styling her look with black strappy sandals, a stack of bracelets on both wrists and a green Bulgari shoulder bag.

A topknot, glossy lips and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her look.

Do you like that Cat took a rare step out of her comfort zone, or did she take it too far?

Ryan Reynolds In Etro – Live with Kelly & Michael

Ryan Reynolds In Etro - Live with Kelly & Michael

Following his guest appearance on Good Morning America, Ryan Reynolds headed over to ‘Live with Kelly & Michael’ to continue to promote his new flick, ‘R.I.P.D.’.

Making time for a quick change the actor opted for a more formal look, wearing an Etro wool blend two-tone pinstripe suit, while keeping the same light-blue shirt and maroon tie from his previous look.

Equally great looks, but there’s nothing like a handsome man in a suit.

Solange Knowles In Etro – Out In Dublin

Solange Knowles In Etro - Out In Dublin

Birthday girl Solange Knowles turned 27 in Dublin, Ireland yesterday, where she blew out the candles in high style.

Naturally, our reigning pretty-girl of prints took the opportunity to pattern the celebration with an Etro Spring 2013 blazer and shirt, daintily painted in Japanese-inspired blue flora and fauna.

Three thick rows of black, green and orange stripes boldly cut through the sleeves and bottom of the jacket, interrupting the lighter blooms.

Solange further raised the volume with a cropped pair of slick black track pants from Etro’s Fall 2013 collection. My birthday wish for her would have been that she wore the runway look in its entirety with the matching palazzo pants. She could have carried off the print explosion with aplomb.

We are accustomed to the songstress rocking a fab ‘fro, but she flaunted her new thigh-dusting rows of braids for her b-day.

Funky round shades and Pierre Hardy’s Trico-Dot pumps with orange ankle straps completed the look.

‘The Hangover Part III’ LA Premiere Menswear Round Up

Hangover Premiere Menswear

The men of ‘The Hangover Part III’ also took to the red carpet at Westwood Village Theatre in Westwood, California on Monday evening. Thankfully, it wasn’t the black-suit fest we are used to.

Bradley Cooper: I was most impressed with Bradley’s custom Gucci suit; he stepped way past the limits of usual red carpet menswear (unless you are Ryan Gosling or Jamie Foxx), donning a rust-coloured notched-lapel two-button suit. Pairing the look with a pale-blue shirt was also a bit of a risk when a white shirt would’ve been an easier choice. What I love most about this look is that I can finally see Bradley’s handsome face again. The beard was getting a bit out of control.

Justin Bartha: Going for a head-to-toe sleek Etro look, the actor wore a grey-and-blue plaid woven suit with a blue dress shirt. I love the accents, which prevent this look from feeling one note; they include a navy silk polka-dot tie, a silk paisley pocket square and suede two-tone brogues.

Zach Galifianakis: My wish for this look is that Zach had matched his jacket to his pants. Either colour would’ve worked. As presented it doesn’t work for me.
