Hilary Swank In Elie Saab Couture – 2014 Outfest Legacy Awards

Hilary Swank In Elie Saab Couture - 2014 Outfest Legacy Awards

Hilary Swank was back on the red carpet for the 2014 Outfest Legacy Awards held at Vibiana on Wednesday (November 12) in Los Angeles, California.

After taking a risk which didn’t quite pay off for me the night before, the actress wore another Couture look, this time from Elie Saab’s Fall 2014 collection.

Hilary styled her long-sleeved jacquard ombre flared frock with gold accessories, adding ruby jewels to complement the red sequin embellishments on her dress.

The dress exudes feminine chic and is classic in design, yet it doesn’t have me screaming BDOTW-worthy.

Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Premiere

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" - World Premiere - Red Carpet Arrivals

Elizabeth Banks attended ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ premiere held at Odeon Leicester Square this evening (November 10).

My expectations were high, but even I wasn’t fully prepared for the extent to which I was swept away by this breathtaking Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture gown.

Enchanting her way down the red carpet, Elizabeth’s floral-print frock with a stormy-print skirt which is delicately accented with embellishments is a truly magical gown.

It’s a long way to go on this tour, but I already feel this will be my favourite.

Ana Beatriz Barros In Elie Saab – Elle Style Awards 2014

Ana Beatriz Barros In Elie Saab - Elle Style Awards 2014

Ana Beatriz Barros attended the Elle Style Awards 2014 party held at the Italian Embassy on Thursday (October 23) in Madrid, Spain.

The model looked beautiful and statuesque wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2014 burgundy gown with an open back and sheer panels in the skirt.

I love the beaded neckline, which enhances the look. The taupe suede clutch is less enamouring, yet it takes nothing away from the look.

A simple updo with face-framing tendrils provided the finishing touch.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Lily Collins In Elie Saab Couture & Eddie Redmayne In Gucci

Best Dressed Of The Week - Lily Collins In Elie Saab Couture & Eddie Redmayne In Gucci

If BDOTW was a race this week, Lily Collins lapped the other contestants several times taking 55% of the votes.

It appears that you were just as blown away as I was by her stunning Eli Saab Couture ombre gown, which I’m certain will now appear on many BDOTY lists.

For the fellas, Eddie Redmayne had only a 1% lead over fellow Gucci-clad actor Ryan Reynolds.

I picked Eddie as I preferred the white shirt and pocket square breaking up the look, plus the luxe velvet fabric and impeccable tailoring. I’m sure this may have been a factor in your decision-making process too.

Felicity Jones In Elie Saab – ‘The Theory Of Everything’ New York Premiere

Felicity Jones In Elie Saab - 'The Theory Of Everything' New York Premiere

Felicity Jones attended ‘The Theory Of Everything’ New York Premiere held at the Museum of Modern Art on Monday (October 20) in New York City.

The actress looked very graceful wearing an Elie Saab Resort 2015 long-sleeved gown spliced with lace detailing styled with Ana Khouri black gold and white diamond Hematite earrings.

While I feel like the look is missing something – a statement ring; a rouge-coloured lip, perhaps – I’m still totally charmed by this effortless look.

Lily Collins In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Love, Rosie’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

Lily Collins In Elie Saab Couture - 'Love, Rosie' Rome Film Festival Premiere

Lily Collins looked ever so graceful on the red carpet yesterday evening (October 19) for the ‘Love, Rosie’ premiere during the 9th Rome Film Festival in Rome, Italy following the photocall during the day.

While some of you have bemoaned Elie Saab’s repetitive gowns, I’m sure your heart skipped several beats, like mine did, when you saw Lily take to the red carpet in this elegant Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture ombre gown.

It’s the one we all wanted to see on the red carpet, perhaps on the likes of Penelope Cruz, Mila Kunis or (wishful thinking) Marion Cotillard, but Lily more than holds her own in this breathtaking design.

Yet another bold lip, this time in a darker berry hue, perfects this look along with a retro wavy bob ‘do, with Vita Fede jewelry rounding out her look.

This has BDOTY contention written all over it. Will it make your list?
