Amber Heard In Giambattista Valli Haute Couture – ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Amber Heard made her second appearance on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ this evening (May 12).

Cannes and gowns are synonymous, but Amber and her stylist Karla Welch are two women who don’t care to play by the rules.

The actress wore a detail orientated Giambattista Valli Spring 2018 Haute Couture mini dress which had an edgy beauty to it which I adore.

Roger Vivier ‘Flower Net’ embellished booties amp up the youthful, rebellious statement.

Helen Mirren In Elie Saab Haute Couture – ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Helen Mirren graced the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Girls Of The Sun (Les Filles Du Soleil)’ this evening (May 12).

Usually I don’t greet Fall looks with much love at the festival, but this Elie Saab Fall 2017 Couture royal blue gown was fit for a Queen, and Helen is as good a royalty in my eyes.

The medieval theme can’t be denied, so I love how the actress played to up to the vibe with her gold accessories which included Avakian jewels.

Stunning, is an understatement. She always delivers.

Nieves Alvarez In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Nieves Alvarez is blowing us away twice in one day during Cannes Film Festival.

Earlier she was pretty in pink. Tonight, for premiere of ‘Sorry Angel’, she’s bringing some magic to Cannes courtesy of the red carpet king Elie Saab.

It feels like a lifetime since we saw some Elie Saab Couture on the red carpet, and they don’t come much better than this Fall 2016 Couture piece.

Yes, it’s sheer. But I’m far more intrigued by the dazzling embellishments and the confident way Nieves is selling this look to me.

I believe part of the success of wearing a sheer dress is to opt for the right underwear. And she did.

Kendall Jenner In Elie Saab – Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch

While the Hadid sisters were storming the runway for Karl Lagerfeld in Paris for Chanel’s Resort 2019 show, model Kendall Jenner attended the Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City.

Once summer arrives, there doesn’t seem to be an outing where a crisp white frock doesn’t work, as the LWD is pretty much guaranteed sartorial success.

I instantly fell in love with Kendall in this Elie Saab Spring 2018 coco white mini dress with beading throughout as the look felt ultra feminine and fresh.

All appears sweet until you get a little closer and realize that someone forgot to cover the headlights.

PVC leg elongating sandals and a micro Jacquemus Le Sac Espelho bag completed her look.

Shu Qi In Elie Saab & Blumarine – 2018 Beijing International Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Shu Qi was a vision at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Beijing International Film Festival on Sunday (April 22) in China. She joined Isabelle Huppert.

The actress captivated in not one but two romantic ensembles.

Firstly, she wore an Elie Saab Fall 2018 dress. It was a delight of details. The swirling pattern on the skirt was cut to reveal a bolder floral print. The bodice was just as ornate with its frilly Victorian inspiration and lace fabric flecked with red dots.

With so much already going on, she was wise to remove the scarf from the runway. I would have also taken off the white belt and left off the chandelier earrings.

The romance continued with a Blumarine Resort 2018 gown. The pale yellow stunner had as much detail work as the previous look, but presented a more harmonious finish because it focused on the feathery fringing.

The off-the-shoulder neckline increased the charm and balanced the textured skirt.

Olivia Wilde In Elie Saab – ‘Kodachrome’ LA Premiere

Olivia Wilde joined Elizabeth Olsen for the LA premiere of ‘Kodachrome’ on Wednesday (April 18) in Hollywood, California.

The actress was a marvel of sequins, rhinestones and lace in her Elie Saab Fall 2018 ensemble.

The designer is known for creating ornate, ethereal gowns so it was nice to see separates — and inky black ones no less. It was also wonderful to see that they still retained the magical quality of the dresses.

She added some sex appeal to the look by layering a bra underneath the blazer. The open neckline ties in the lace panels in the skirt. The latter detail flitted from being modest to revealing, depending on how she posed.

Do you like the look?
