Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior Couture - 87th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon

Marion Cotillard attended the 87th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (February 2) in Beverly Hills, California.

The French actress is, not surprisingly, the first to select a look from the recently presented Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture collection.

Visually striking, this Dior Couture black and blue cotton guipure and green wool dress is a sensational delight with its colours and embroidered silver and pink sequins.

Styled with a silver Dior clutch and black Dior pumps, I love how this unique piece shakes up Marion’s style, which took a bit of a nosedive last year.

Who Wore Christian Dior Better…Jennifer Lawrence or Jennifer Lopez?

Who Wore Christian Dior Better Jennifer Lawrence or Jennifer Lopez

At a time when we were longing for Jennifer Lawrence to give us something fresh and new, the actress wore a Christian Dior Resort 2015 look featuring a striped top and fluid multi-print skirt with a handkerchief hemline during the Cannes Film Festival back in May.

Opting for a slightly different top, Jennifer Lopez sported the same look while promoting her new movie, ‘The Boy Next Door’, last month.

With the skirt needing to be the centre of attention, Lawrence played the look right with Miu Miu shades and Jimmy Choo sandals.

Lopez, however, left this on the burner slightly too long, overcooking the look with the excessive – even for her – jewels, hot-pink pumps and glossy pink lip.

Lawrence wins the battle of the Jennifer’s in Dior.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Emma Stone In Christian Dior Couture, Camila Alves In Donna Karan Atelier & Eddie Redmayne in Prada

BDOTW 2 Feb

Despite you guys not loving the sheer skirt trend, Emma Stone was your favourite this week.

You were blown away by how modern and chic she looked as she opted, once again, to eschew a traditional gown, wearing a Christian Dior Couture look that was a bold take on the tux trend to the SAG Awards.

My favourite without question was Camila Alves in Donna Karan Atelier. Some might say a very predictable choice, but between the colour, the pose and the elegant draping, this look rendered me speechless.

When it came to the guys, the choice was simple and unanimous: Eddie Redmayne in Prada.

A chic set of Dior-dressed lovelies held court at the Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture show, presented on Monday (January 26) during Paris Fashion Week Haute-Couture Spring/Summer 2015 in France.

Natalie Portman: The actress cut a sophisticated profile in a Dior black cashmere top, black silk satin skirt and black bi-colour wool and mohair tweed coat. Further winterizing the look, she paired the ensemble with black tights and accessorized with black Dior heels and a Dior shoulder bag.

Elizabeth Olsen: Skipping the tights but staying with the tweed trend, the starlet wore a Dior black silk and wool tweed jacquard dress with an asymmetrical silhouette paired with a bi-colour wool and mohair tweed jacket, a black Dior clutch and Dior pumps. The beautiful, verdant green shade of her jacket caught my eye.

Natalia Vodianova: The epitome of effortless Parisian chic, the model wore a Dior white wool jacket, a navy cashmere sweater and black wool pants, styling the mannish moment with a small Dior clutch and black Dior pumps. There is not one hint of try-hard in this classic look.

Eva Herzigova: Bringing a punch of bold colour to the front row, the model wore a Dior red heavy silk cadi jumpsuit with a beige wool coat matched to a red Dior clutch and black Dior pumps. With her statuesque frame, she’s able to pull of the loose, languid lines of this jumpsuit, which benefited from the structure of the belt and coat.
