Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Back in April last year, Salma Hayek wore Balenciaga Spring 2010 shoes on the red carpet, and I was not best pleased.

I prefer a more glamorous Salma on the red carpet. At the time I felt she was trying too hard.

Cut to a year later, and the First Lady of The Gucci Group was spotted wearing her Balenciaga heels again.

This time she wore them on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills.

I much prefer the heels worn in this type of setting than on the red carpet.

The actress wore her heels with a draped navy dress and a Bottega Veneta Brick Cervo bag.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has yet another landslide victory wearing a Jenny Packham Spring 2011 gown this week, which she wore to the Annual Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) Gala Dinner in London.

After all who wouldn’t want to look like a Duchess or a First Lady?

Emma Stone came third in the MTV Movie Awards poll, but she’s been my favourite all week.

Proving that Mother Nature doesn’t always know best, the natural blonde returned to red carpet sporting our favoured red ‘do at the MTV Movie Awards.

She looked adorable in her Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 lace mini dress. Adding orange accessories including a Bottega Veneta clutch and Casadei pumps perfected the look.

Best Dressed Award
I’m so in love with Emma Stone’s look at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, that I have already forgotten what she looked like as a blonde.

The “Spiderman” actress looked sensational wearing a Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 dress.

This is our first look at this collection on the red carpet.

Her striped yellow and grey bustier dress has a lace sleeveless overlay with a fringe hemline and a black ribbon tied to the waist.

Thank god she didn’t opt for black pumps. I would’ve been crushed.

Orange satin Casadei pumps and a matching Bottega Veneta clutch completed her look.

This week Elle Macpherson was spotted leaving the Bottega Veneta flagship store relaunch party in London.

The stylish supermodel wore a white Bottega Veneta white cropped jacket, a black vest top and cream killer heels.

You can’t help but totally focus on her Roberto Cavalli leopard-print harem pants.

Leopard print and harem pants are things people love to hate, but Elle rocks the hell out of them with relative ease.

An ivory satin clutch, voluminous tousled curls, peachy lips and a gold chain belt with a black tasselled finish completed her look.

There is a lot going on – too much I hear some of you say – but she makes it work for her.

I gotta say I don’t hate it.

It’s been forever since we last saw Beyonce Knowles, but she was spotted braving the cold New York City temperatures whilst exiting her car to attend a business meeting yesterday.

She looked stylish wearing a croc leather jacket, with a white oversize shirt which was paired with an embellished skirt.

Bey accessorized with a black hat, YSL pumps and a Bottega Veneta ‘Brick’ bag.

The new bag is roomy, refined, strong and travel-friendly blending signature craftsmanship with timeless design.

It has a three-dimensional shape and two woven leather handles. The top-zip bag is made versatile by the fact that the soft, unconstructed volume folds in on itself if you would want a slimmer bag.

It’s my new love.
