Julianne Moore In Bottega Veneta – “What’s On The Table” Event

Julianne Moore was one of the guest speakers at ‘What’s On The Table’ event which was held at a Private Residence in New York City this weekend.

The actress, who tends to favour Lanvin and Tom Ford for her red carpet appearances, opted for a look from the Bottega Veneta Resort 2012 collection on this occasion.

Her nude, black and orange colour block dress was paired with ankle strap snake-skin wedges.

It’s great to see Julianne in something more colourful, but I don’t like nude underlay poking out from the under the hemline.

An updo, barely there make-up and Bvlgari jewels completed her look.

Sidewalk Style: Vera Farmiga In Bottega Veneta

Vera Farmiga was spotted heading back to her hotel in New York City yesterday after a day of promoting her new movie, “Higher Ground.”

She wore a Bottega Veneta lace abstract dress and printed cardigan from the Fall 2011 collection with gold strappy sandals.

The yellow crepe dress has an espresso sheer lace-paneled overlay and a frayed neckline. Her cardigan also has the same abstract print.

Vera opted out of wearing the orange obi belt replacing it with a much simpler black ribbon tied to the waist.

I loved the extra kick the orange belt gave to this look.

I don’t dislike the look, but I believe it could’ve been so much better as the shoes seem overly fussy.

Emma Watson In Bottega Veneta – Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2″ New York Premiere

Once again Emma Watson hits us with another very unexpected look when she arrived on the red carpet for the “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2? New York Premiere tonight.

She wore a Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 gown.

As you know I’m quite obsessed with this collection, as I fell in love with Emma Stone who donned a Bottega Veneta dress to the MTV Movie Awards.

Despite my love for this collection, I was always very unsure how the gowns would look on the red carpet.

This gorgeous gown with a linen bustier and cascading satin amber flamed skirt was styled with slicked back hair and smoky eyes.

I love the gown and the hair, but the eyes are too raccoon-like for my tastes.

Giuseppe Zanotti chocolate brown platform peep toes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed this rustic look.

Does this leave you speechless in a good or bad way?

Sidewalk Style: Salma Hayek’s Balenciaga Shoes & Bottega Veneta Bag

Back in April last year, Salma Hayek wore Balenciaga Spring 2010 shoes on the red carpet, and I was not best pleased.

I prefer a more glamorous Salma on the red carpet. At the time I felt she was trying too hard.

Cut to a year later, and the First Lady of The Gucci Group was spotted wearing her Balenciaga heels again.

This time she wore them on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills.

I much prefer the heels worn in this type of setting than on the red carpet.

The actress wore her heels with a draped navy dress and a Bottega Veneta Brick Cervo bag.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham & Emma Stone In Bottega Veneta

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has yet another landslide victory wearing a Jenny Packham Spring 2011 gown this week, which she wore to the Annual Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) Gala Dinner in London.

After all who wouldn’t want to look like a Duchess or a First Lady?

Emma Stone came third in the MTV Movie Awards poll, but she’s been my favourite all week.

Proving that Mother Nature doesn’t always know best, the natural blonde returned to red carpet sporting our favoured red ‘do at the MTV Movie Awards.

She looked adorable in her Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 lace mini dress. Adding orange accessories including a Bottega Veneta clutch and Casadei pumps perfected the look.
