Ahna O’Reilly’s Cannes Film Festival Style

Ahna O’Reilly, best known for her supporting role as Elizabeth Leefolt in the 2011 award-winning movie, ‘The Help’, has had a very busy few days at Cannes Film Festival. Before she takes to the red carpet this evening for the premiere of her latest movie ‘As I Lay Dying’, here is a look at all her red carpet looks.

Belvedere Vodka party: Working a hot-pink lip, the actress wore a Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2013 cold-shoulder dress with a vivid graphic print and electric-blue skirt. Keeping the accessories simple was probably best, even though they are inspiring.

The Art of Elysium, Rabbit Bandini and Leon Max event: Opting for a more summery look, she wore a beautiful Georges Hobeika Spring 2013 Couture dress featuring an embroidered top and flowing chiffon floral skirt. This is my favourite look of the four.

Dior Cruise 2014 presentation: Taking a short trip to Monaco, the actress joined Princess Charlene of Monaco, Marion Cotillard and Jessica Biel in the front row at the Christian Dior Cruise 2014 presentation. Opting for a chic ladies-who-lunch look, she wore a Pre-Fall 2013 Dior black-and-grey-printed dress, which she styled with a Dior clutch and Dior jewels.

‘As I Lay Dying’ Cannes photocall: This afternoon she wore a playful yellow silk crêpe top and skirt from the Marni Spring Summer Edition 2013 collection festooned with ruffles and a ‘Quacking Ducks’ print. Her bi-colour Bionda Castana sandals take away some of the attention from her frock, but for some of you this won’t be such a bad thing.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Bibhu Mohapatra – Dinner In Paris

Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted out in Paris, France headed back to her hotel after having dinner in the City of Lights.

The actress selected a Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2013 dress for the occasion which once again was in a longer below-the-knee length.

Her colour-block dress features a sexy sheer insert and an ivory front panel which gives the illusion of a tiny waist, especially with such a dark background.

Opting once again for Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps, this time a black patent leather pair, the actress decided to keep things familiar with slick straight tresses.

Cobie Smulders In Bibhu Mohapatra – 1st Annual Norma Jean Gala

The last time Cobie Smulders took to the red carpet her look was a total disaster, so I was delighted to see her back on track yesterday evening while attending the 1st Annual Norma Jean Gala held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ actress selected a super sleek Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2012 dress which hugged her in all the right place.

I love the dramatic scarlet-red insert on her high-neck ivory cocktail dress which gives a contemporary edge to this classic silhouette.

Jumping on the white shoe trend she donned a pair of Aldo Rise x Preen python sandals, which look very similar to the Givenchy sandals which were very popular last year.

A metallic python Devi Kroell ‘Night Pochette’ clutch and Lana Jewelry white gold studs with red and brown sapphires accessorized her comeback look.

Is Cobie back to her best or does she still need to work harder to impress you?

W Magazine Celebrate The Golden Globes Red Carpet Round Up

Here are the rest of the looks from W Magazine’s celebration of the Golden Globes, held at the Chateau Marmont in California last night. It appears the dress code for the evening was wear something blue or gold.

Jennifer Lawrence: Feeling like our prayers have finally been answered, the ‘Silver Lining Playbook’ actress wore her second non-black look in a row. Looking more like the fresh-faced bubbly young actress we fell in love with this time last year, she wore an ocean-blue Victoria Beckham fitted dress with slash details on the shoulders. Opting for conservative accessories she carried a gold clutch wore black peep-toes heels and added Sylva & Cie jewels.

Frieda Pinto: The Indian beauty also opted for a striking oceanic colour wearing a blue sleeveless Missoni dress with a flared skirt and brocade panels. Her Roger Vivier black satin peep-toes with an turquoise feather accents managed to upstage her gorgeous dress.

Kerry Washington: Fresh off her successful ‘Django Unchained’ promo tour, Kerry didn’t slouch in the style stakes upon her return to LA. Dressed in a printed Stella McCartney jumpsuit the look was styled with bright-blue pieces including a Reed Krakoff blazer and an electric-blue Roger Vivier clutch.

Jena Malone: With a big-budget movie to promote this year, Jena kick started her year wearing a fanciful printed frock from the Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2013 collection. Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Orner’ black suede strappy sandals and a gold clutch accessorized her look, with a hot-pink lip colour and cat-eyes providing the finishing touches.

Maggie Grace In Bibhu Mohapatra – ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ Premiere

Maggie Grace attended ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ premiere, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California on Monday evening.

The beautiful blonde actress wore a Bibhu Mohapatra Resort 2013 gown.

Her emerald-green part-crepe, part-silk gown is lovely in theory, but I’m put off by the silk panels around the embellished panel on the bodice. Up close it looks a tad unfinished.

A black Lauren Merkin ‘Zoe’ clutch and silver jewels accessorize her look.

I love the wavy updo and frosty pink lip colour.

Hannah Simone In Bibhu Mohapatra – FOX All-Star Party

Hannah Simone first caught my eye on the red carpet this week wearing a Mary Katrantzou summery dress to the Teen Choice Awards.

It looks like the actress is not afraid of prints because she donned another striking frock to the FOX All-Star Party in Hollywood, California on Monday night.

She paired the look-at-me, Bibhu Mohapatra Resort 2013, cute A-line colourful print frock with Sergio Rossi ‘Cachet’ pumps.

Her envied glossy tresses were styled into a high ponytail on this occasion, with dangling earrings and a nude glossy lip colour completing her look.

Maybe she’s set on making statement prints her thing; either way, I’m keen to see what she wears next.
