Daily (Celine) Dion’s Street Style Looks

Celine Dion has served up no shortage of street-style looks for us to gaze upon, as she continues to take Paris by storm. While she is normally on her fashion game, a few recent looks have called into question her sartorial judgment—and that trend only continued over this past week with some head-scratching statements in the mix as well as a few standouts to remind us how she does off-duty style best.

July 4: Because the singer is not one to buck a trend, she would not leave the pyjama party to only Gigi Hadid. This Louis Vuitton x Supreme two-piece ensemble was the epitome of luxe loungewear when styled with her embellished shades and stilettos. She did wear the look with supremely effortlessness, even if it will be translated as glorified PJs.

July 5: She brought a bit of Asian persuasion to her next look with this Reem Acra Fall 2017 floral-print dress informed by the silhouette of a geisha robe and an obi sash. I love her choice of the embellished Gucci bag and velvet-green heels to finish the look in smartly high style.

Annalise Basso In Bibhu Mohapatra – 2017 SAG Awards

Annalise Basso attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The 18-year-old actress glided onto the red carpet in this grownup, standout, floaty gown from the Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2016 collection.

Featuring the crossover neckline, cinched in waist and dragonfly embroidery, we love this dress, although it needed to be a good few inches shorter. The dramatic sleeves unfortunately swamp Annalise a tad, and you can’t see the Charlotte Olympia shoes that complimented the look.

The swept back hair was perfect, as were the dark chandelier earrings.

Yara Shahidi In Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh & Bibhu Mohapatra – 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Yara Shahidi may only be 16, but the emerging starlet showed her style chops at the People’s Choice Awards 2017 on Wednesday (January 18) in LA.

Deciding between two favoured looks clearly wasn’t working for the ‘Black-ish’ actress, so she took matters into her own hands and wore both.

Red Carpet: First up, she donned a graphic, black-and-white gown from designer Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Spring 2017 collection for the red carpet.

Presenting: Switching into a shorter Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2017 frock, she presented the Favourite Premium Series Actress to Sarah Jessica Parker.

I loved the more youthful exuberance of the second look with its joyful ruffle top and vibrant kaleidoscope-print skirt, as she was nearly swimming amidst the checquered sea in the first gown. Which did you prefer?

L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2015 Celebration

L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2015 Celebration

A host of lovely ladies joined Julianne Moore for the L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2015 Celebration on Tuesday (December 1) in New York City.

Freida Pinto: I adore the mix of colours of Freida’s Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2016 dress which featured black straps which could be confused as bra straps. The look was further enlivened with a hot pink lip and effortlessly styled with silver accessories.

Karlie Kloss: Wow. It’s rare that I get to say this about a red carpet look from Karlie Kloss, but she totally blew me away in this Rosie Assoulin Resort 2016 cut-out gown. I’m hoping for more like this from the supermodel in the future. The look is so sleek and modern that I’m left in awe.

Eva Longoria: Hot footing it from London, the actress kept her look simple wearing a black Amanda Wakeley gown.
