Allison Janney In Bibhu Mohapatra – 2018 BAFTAs

Allison Janney joined her ‘I, Tonya’ co-star Margot Robbie, on the red carpet for the 2018 BAFTAs in London this evening (February 18).

Much like her with her Mario Dice Golden Globe Awards gown, Allison opted to keep things interesting with a unique twist on the black dress code.

This Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2018 gown is not an easy look to pull off.

I didn’t love it at first, but the unique construction quickly grew on me.

We’ve already had a black velvet moment, so I was ready for one that was thinking outside the box.

Messika earrings completed her tricky look.

Letitia Wright In Bibhu Mohapatra – ‘Black Panther’ World Premiere

Letitia Wright took to the red carpet on Monday (January 29) in Hollywood, California, with her co-stars Angela Bassett and Danai Gurira for Marvel Studios’ world premiere of ‘Black Panther’.

When I saw that she had worn a modified version of this Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2017 gown, I wished they had gone a bit further.

I would’ve kept the original bustier bodice and swapped out the nude tulle lining for black.

Kelly Marie Tran In Bibhu Mohapatra – ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ London Premiere

Kelly Marie Tran continues to live her best life while promoting ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, which saw her take to the red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall for the London premiere this evening (December 12).

I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of this Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2017 gown, but I do love how the embellishments add some dimension to all that frothy tulle.

The most important thing about this dress is how it makes Kelly Marie feel, and judging by that gorgeous smile, she clearly loves it.

Mary J Blige In Bibhu Mohapatra – HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Mary J Blige joined a host of celebrities including Kate Bosworth and Nina Dobrev for the HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards event on Wednesday (November 15) in West Hollywood, California.

When it comes to her ‘Mudbound’ promo tour, I often felt Mary was holding back, because excess has always been her M.O.

With that being said, this Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2018 dress seems a lot more like Mary to me.

While there an elements of sophistication, the embellishments and feathered sleeves make the look more expressive and gives the piece more personality.

I do prefer the runway version, but I think Mary manages to pull this look off quite well.

Daily (Celine) Dion’s Street Style Looks

Celine Dion has served up no shortage of street-style looks for us to gaze upon, as she continues to take Paris by storm. While she is normally on her fashion game, a few recent looks have called into question her sartorial judgment—and that trend only continued over this past week with some head-scratching statements in the mix as well as a few standouts to remind us how she does off-duty style best.

July 4: Because the singer is not one to buck a trend, she would not leave the pyjama party to only Gigi Hadid. This Louis Vuitton x Supreme two-piece ensemble was the epitome of luxe loungewear when styled with her embellished shades and stilettos. She did wear the look with supremely effortlessness, even if it will be translated as glorified PJs.

July 5: She brought a bit of Asian persuasion to her next look with this Reem Acra Fall 2017 floral-print dress informed by the silhouette of a geisha robe and an obi sash. I love her choice of the embellished Gucci bag and velvet-green heels to finish the look in smartly high style.

Annalise Basso In Bibhu Mohapatra – 2017 SAG Awards

Annalise Basso attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The 18-year-old actress glided onto the red carpet in this grownup, standout, floaty gown from the Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2016 collection.

Featuring the crossover neckline, cinched in waist and dragonfly embroidery, we love this dress, although it needed to be a good few inches shorter. The dramatic sleeves unfortunately swamp Annalise a tad, and you can’t see the Charlotte Olympia shoes that complimented the look.

The swept back hair was perfect, as were the dark chandelier earrings.

Yara Shahidi In Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh & Bibhu Mohapatra – 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Yara Shahidi may only be 16, but the emerging starlet showed her style chops at the People’s Choice Awards 2017 on Wednesday (January 18) in LA.

Deciding between two favoured looks clearly wasn’t working for the ‘Black-ish’ actress, so she took matters into her own hands and wore both.

Red Carpet: First up, she donned a graphic, black-and-white gown from designer Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Spring 2017 collection for the red carpet.

Presenting: Switching into a shorter Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2017 frock, she presented the Favourite Premium Series Actress to Sarah Jessica Parker.

I loved the more youthful exuberance of the second look with its joyful ruffle top and vibrant kaleidoscope-print skirt, as she was nearly swimming amidst the checquered sea in the first gown. Which did you prefer?
